Larry Graham & Graham Central Station Set To Take Over The Dakota Jazz Club!

Larry Graham Promo Image By LV

Larry Graham & Graham Central Station are going to be taking over the Dakota Jazz Club in Minneapolis for 2 nights, starting this Monday May 27th!

Larry Graham doesn’t tour as much anymore so when U have a chance to check out LEGENDS like this, do so! I am talking about MUSIC….and the BASS.

You can purchase tickets HERE!!!

Although Prince just rocked Minneapolis (St. Paul) last night, when asked by Jon Bream if he would play with his friend at The Dakota Jazz Club, he replied “If he asked me to.” Now, that would be a bonus.-DocFB

Diagnosis: ThankUMinneapolis….

It amazes me how wrong people can be! I took a friend from Mexico who like I said never gets out to things like this and she was so moved REALLY! she reminds me of T. Graham just in her pure sweetness. What impressed her the most was finding out his (Larry’s) other job 🙂 and how long and a lot of what he and T do, she’s never seen a story like theirs.

She has a very cute accent and doesn’t quite get phrases it’s too funny she said about me and my boyyo “you are 2 pea’s one plate” haha and she said of Graham is very Jazz, because its a jazz club and I said well actually that is funk music and so she says he is very funk lol. Music is so healing and everyone has something in this world that needs healing. Thank you guys for staying true and standing or should I say Raising UP for the true God.

I am not a LG hater. However, I expect more from him. LG is a legend, yet he has been riding on the Purple wagon for almost 20 years…LG needs to catch a glue and do something new…Even Maceo Parker doesn’t swing on Prince’s jock like LG. Maceo is touring all over Europe and keeping his fan base excited. Maceo and Prince are young in mind and continue to re-invent themselves while LG is basking in his past glory….

A celebration last night! so glad we went with or with out Prince sitting in. The people I bought had never experienced Larry so It is so fun to open up people to Always the most interesting peeps at Larry’s shows I’m alwayz amazed at who’s into it, young and old alike. Just wish they would have moved at least those front tables. This is Definitely a stand a dance show not a sit watch thing. Thats only part I didn’t like, it was strange. I didn’t sit OF COURSE!

I second that he should go far away. He ruined Prince with his JW mumbo jumbo. That is right I said it.

Yes, I would love to see Larry Graham re-invent himself as Prince has, however, it is what it is. Larry has invented a style of playing bass that Prince appreciates, however, if you are going to remain relevant in your field, you MUST break new ground. Prince gets this and Larry doesn’t.
