Mannn, what is going on, 1st Louis Johnson, then Natalie Cole, then David Bowie, then Glenn Frey, now Maurice White…my goodness…

I know they were getting older, but c’mon back to back, like the domino effect, all at once…

I pray for Maurice White’s family, he is definitely missed, my aunt played EWF relentlessly when I was like, from age 6 on up. It was 8-track tapes in those dayz, & she played EWF, McFadden & Whitehead, Maze, Parliament, Minnie Riperton, Isaac Hayes, The Brothers Johnson, The Jacksons, Smokey Robinson, all them guys. But I remember her playing EWF most of the time, they were & still are her favorite group, they basically had a hand in my early upbringing. Prince took over with Rick James, Parliament & Bootsy when I turned 10.

“Keep Your Head To The Sky” has been stuck in my head every since Maurice past, now I’m hearing “That’s The Way of The World” & “September”…

My aunty wore them songs out…

Miss & love you Maurice, you have paid your dues sir, over, above, & beyond…

Thank you for all you & Earth, Wind, & Fire has done for us..

    R.I.P.
