Bad news for Green Day fans. They have officially cancelled their 2012 Voodoo Music & Arts Experience performance on October 27th, 2012.
There was no reason given for the band's cancellation in the statement I received but we do know that Billie Joe Armstrong checked into rehab for substance abuse a little over a week ago after the band's Iheartradio performance.
"Canceling shows is something we rarely do," said Tré Cool. "We never want to let our fans down, and we are grateful for all of you being understanding during this time."
For those that may have thought this was for show, it seems like you may be wrong.-DocFB

A rep for Green Day has confirmed that Bille Joe Armstrong has checked into rehab for substance abuse. This comes 2 days after a meltdown on stage at the iHeartradio music festival.
They are cancelling some upcoming promotional appearances for ¡Uno! which is set for release this Tuesday.
During the now infamous meltdown, Billie Joe curses everyone from Usher to Justin Bieber for the festival cutting the band's set short.

LeAnn Rimes has checked into rehab for stress and anxiety treatment. Where she went is undisclosed at this time.
Her reps have confirmed the story to People.com. Her rep, Marcel Pariseau stated "LeAnn has voluntarily entered a 30-day in-patient treatment facility to cope with anxiety and stress. While there will be speculation regarding her treatment, she is simply there to learn and develop coping mechanisms. While privacy isn't expected, it's certainly appreciated."
The singer is actually on tour and will be let out of the facility on weekends to perform. Marcel added "The facility has granted her permission to keep her weekend tour obligations, as LeAnn doesn't want to disappoint her fans. She will report back after each weekend."
LeAnn also released a statement to People.com;
"This is just a time for me to emotionally check out for a second and take care of myself and come back in 30 days as the best 30-year-old woman I can be. All the things in my life will be there when I get out, but you know what? I'm hoping they're not going to affect me as much. I'll have the tools to know how to deal with them."
The 30-year old singer is still married to Eddie Cibrian who offers his wife his full support during this time and promised to be with her every step of the way.
Get well soon LeAnn.-DocFB
