After seven seasons, word on the street is that Charlie Sheen will be leaving his sitcom, Two and a Half Men. The April 9 taping is expected to be his last show.
Sources on the set of the show told People magazine that “Charlie’s just done, and he’s quietly telling his friends he’s not coming back.”
Sheen recently turned down an offer to extend his contract for another season. A friend of Sheen says "Leaving is 100% his idea."
The question remains of how much Sheen's recent domestic drama and court appearances are contributing to his desire to leave the show.
Sheen is facing domestic violence charges after a fight with his now estranged wife, Brooke Mueller, on Christmas Day last year. Sheen pled not guilty to the charges last month and is due back in court on July 21 for his jury trial. -Dr.FB
Charlie Sheen is really lucky.....and pretty smart. Just when he is about to face charges in Denver for an incident with his wife Brooke Mueller and Brooke has just checked herself into drug rehab.
On the day of the incident, Charlie Sheen had a blood alcohol level of 0.5, a legal limit, while Brooke's was 3.7, way over the limit. After saying that Charlie attacked her, she later recanted the story, but the police went ahead and charged Sheen. When the charges were filed, Brooke was still wanting them dropped and has stated so.
Now, with her checking into rehab, it's going to hurt their case against him. Now, did she really need help or is this all part of a plan to make sure Charlie gets off again?
Why do I have a feeling no one really cares regardless?-Dr.FB
Charlie Sheen was arrested in Aspen, Colorado for domestic violence. It happened early Friday morning as a 911 call was placed and the actor was arrested for star for "felony second degree assault, felony menacing and criminal mischief," which is a misdemeanor.
The person who placed the call was Brooke Mueller, Charlie wife. Sheen posted $8,500 in bail and has been released. Brooke said Charlie hit her, but Charlie is saying that she was the aggressor and was just trying to fight here off.
Law officers visited Brooke while Charlie was in jail and had Brooke take a breathalyzer test and she was legally drunk, posting a 1.3 compared to Charlie's .04. While visiting with Brooke, she said the charge was "PHONY" but police will still pursue the case.
The police tried talking with Brooke again today but she is now refusing to talk with them. The police said they usually follow a procedure filing paperwork against someone who files a false report.
Charlie Sheen's people released this statement: "Do not be mislead by appearance. Appearance and reality can be as different as night and day. It would benefit everyone not to jump to any conclusion."
Charlie Sheen's court date has been set for Feb. 8th, 2010.-Dr.FB
Seems like Little Max Sheen has yet to meet his weight goal so he can join his twin brother Bob at home. Little Max will stay hospitalized until he reaches a healthy weight. I'm sure this won't be too long, I believe the little guy will be home very soon.
Brooke Mueller gave birth to the twins on March 14, 2009.
"Weight issue is very common among infants that were born before reaching full term.", Sheen told US Magazine.
