Diagnosis: Shut Up Already......
On Wednesday night, Sheila E. hosted an impromptu "Bowling for Japan" fundraiser at Corbin Bowl in Tarzana, CA to benefit disaster relief efforts in Japan. Fans found out about it through Sheila's Facebook and Twitter announcements earlier in the day.
Those who attended were treated to $1 bowling to help drive donations. There was a great turnout for the event. The Doc had a good time meeting Sheila E. and other celebs who were in mixing with the regular folk.
Word from the event was that Sheila blew away the crowd with her bowling skillz - no wonder she likes these bowling fundraisers! And haven't we seen that pose somewhere before - like on tour with Prince as she descends on the lift after Glamorous Life? Sheila's got all the showmanship...
Sheila tweeted this out last night:
"Just got home from the bowling 4 hope fundraiser, thx 2 every1 4 coming out & supporting. U have all helped save lives with ur donation" @sheilaedrummer

Diagnosis: A Worthy Cause
An 8.8 Earthquake has rocked Chile this morning, killing dozens so far and triggering Tsunami warnings for Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Hawaii, Australia, Russia and other Pacific Islands. There is even a warning for the coast of California.
The Earthquake hit about 3:30 in the morning over there. So far, there has been 2 aftershocks over there, one at 6.2 and another at 5.4.
This came just hours after a 6.9 earthquake shook Japan. There is no major damage there.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to those effected by these events.-Dr.FB
A 6.1 aftershock has just rocked Haiti.
It hit just outside Port-Au-Prince.
Prayers are being sent. I will have more information on the Haiti Benefit TV special happening this Friday later today.
Please keep the people of Haiti in your prayers and donate where and when you can.-Dr.FB
It was a good day yesterday on the fight of the fires in Los Angeles. I no longer see the flames on the hills behind my place. The fire is only 30 percent contained but it's better than what it was.
The sad thing is, fowl play may have been the cause of the fire. What do people get out of setting land on fire and causing others to be homeless?
An earthquake that hit Indonesia was at least a 7.0 and there is almost 20 people dead. My thoughts and prayers go out to the the L.A. firefighters and those in Indonesia dealing with the aftermath of a powerful earthquake.-Dr.FB
Hope our readers in Tokyo, Japan where a 7.1 earthquake happened are OK and no Tsunami happens.
Hope everyone is safe in New Zealand, well, as safe as they can be after a 7.8 Earthquake shook the ground.
