Francis Ford Coppola's new movie "Twixt" starring Val Kilmer has hit online and I am.....underwhelmed. Perhaps because it is supposed to be in 3-D. The ending, it does say "Just you wait, you'll be very surprised" so maybe we will be.
Val Kilmer looks like John Travolta and a little bit like the late great John Ritter in this clip. This guy used to be Batman? Maybe he bulked up for the role of a writer.
We hear that Coppola is going to tour the movie to different movie theatres nationwide where he himself will conduct a Q & A after the film is showed. Kevin Smith has been doing the same thing with his latest project "Red State" for the past year or so.

Kevin Smith was kicked off a Southwest plane after being told he was too fat to fly and a flight risk.
Kevin was flying out of Oakland back to Burbank and was already seated when he was kicked off the plane. Kevin took to his Twitter account and sent off a slew of attacks on the airline and the embarrassment that followed.
They did offer Kevin a $100 dollar voucher for his trouble and Kevin said they chastised the women next to him as well for not buying an extra seat even though Kevin said he was not a risk.
Kevin took another Southwest flight out of there and pointed out he flew out to Oakland and flew back to Burbank so does not understand what the pilots deal is.
Kevin will be addressing this on his podcast tonight. Wonder how soon until they start weighing people before they get on a flight or ask for your weight description when purchasing tickets. Bet it happens soon. But if you have a bomb in your underpants, hey, step right up and take your seat.-Dr.FB
Ironically enough, Southwest responded to Kevin on their Twitter account saying they were sorry for his experience.
Time has a funny article on Jersey Shore which had director Kevin Smith watching the show on giving a review.
Check it out HERE!!!
What do you think of Jersey Shore?-Dr.FB
Kevin Smith has two more days. Two more days til "Zack & Miri Make A Porno" comes out and two more days to eat what he wants.
Yup. Kevin Smith is going on a diet. Why the change for the big director? He just says his doctor called him morbidly obese. He told the L.A. Times he is taking a health sabbatical.
"I'm going away for a while," Smith said, puffing a menthol cigarette on the patio of his Hollywood Hills home, "to concentrate on myself. To save my life."
It was when he broke a toilet, he knew it was time to make a change.
"I can't take all the credit -- that was an old toilet and a very waterlogged wall -- but my size took that toilet down. I cannot cognitively reframe it and be like, 'It wasn't me -- it was the toilet.' It was definitely me. And that's a wake-up call!"
Zack & Miri is getting great reviews and some are saying that this movie will actually make him some money. Ouch!
"What it says to me, though," he continued, "is a bunch of people are saying, 'This dude never makes any money. He might now. This might be the one.' "
The movie has been hard to promote. In some cities, they could not use the title make a porno. So they made posters that said "Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks made a movie so outrageous that we can't even tell you the title." Crazyness!
It seems his battle with food might be tested by how well the movie does this weekend.
"The results of this movie will be interesting. Come opening weekend, if it does well, I'll want to reward myself by eating more. And if the movie does poorly, I imagine I'll want to self-medicate and eat more. Hollywood's a hard town to be fat in!"
Good luck, Kevin, on your way to being healthy. We wish you success.-Dr.FB
