Diagnosis: What? No Real Shirtless Shot Of Jacob? What A Rip!
Well, I hope this is not true. It is being reported Ashley Greene along with Kellan Lutz are holding out signing contracts for "Breaking Dawn" the final movies (It will be 2 parts) in the Twilight Trilogy Series.
Even though they are making more than they did for "New Moon" they feel it is offensively low. Ashley and Kellan have yet to say anything on the contrary on their Twitter accounts, although Kellan interestingly enough opened up his account just this weekend.
Their is a source from Summit Entertainment who says they better change their tune before they are replaced! Like I said, I hope it is not true and no official confirmation so far on this story.
I hope Ashley doesn't get replaced. Twihards, would you see the movie if Kellan and Ashley are replaced? I have a feeling you might say yes.-Dr.FB
Another blogger posted that there would be 5 Twilight movies, but after making contact with Summit Entertainment, I can tell you there will only be 4.-Dr.FB
Summit Entertainment is pissed at Rachelle Lefevre's comments she made to Access Hollywood and they are coming out swinging!
To read what they said, go here. It's about to get nasty!-Dr.FB
Rachelle Lefevre is in shock that she has been replaces in the Twilight series. Shocked.
Here is her statement to Access Hollywood:
“I was stunned by Summit’s decision to recast the role of Victoria for ‘Eclipse,’ I was fully committed to the ‘Twilight’ saga, and to the portrayal of Victoria,”
I turned down several other film opportunities and, in accordance with my contractual rights, accepted only roles that would involve very short shooting schedules.
"My commitment to ‘Barney’s Version’ is only ten days. Summit picked up my option for ‘Eclipse.’ Although the production schedule for ‘Eclipse’ is over three months long, Summit said they had a conflict during those ten days and would not accommodate me.
"Given the length of filming for ‘Eclipse,’ never did I fathom I would lose the role over a 10 day overlap. I was happy with my contract with Summit and was fully prepared to continue to honor it. Summit chose simply to recast the part.”
"I am greatly saddened that I will not get to complete my portrayal of Victoria for the ‘Twilight’ audience. This is a story, a theatrical journey and a character that I truly love and about which I am very passionate. I will be forever grateful to the fan support and loyalty I’ve received since being cast for this role, and I am hurt deeply by Summit’s surprising decision to move on without me. I wish the cast and crew of ‘Eclipse’ only the very best.”
Wonder what Summit will have to say about her statement.-Dr.FB
The rumor mills are circling the Summit Entertainment is set to peg Chris Weitz to be the new director of the Twilight Sequels. From what we hear, it is already a done deal and has been!
Just like the Catherine Hardwhicke news of her not directing the sequels was announced on Sunday, it was actually known for some time that she would not be on board but they were trying to not have the news leak since she and the cast were overseas promoting the movie.
They have known that Chris Weitz was their man all along, and although the rumors say they are courting him, they had him locked up before they let Catherine Hardwhicke go! It makes logical sense for a movie of this magnitude that is going to have more than 2 sequels to have someone in place before letting the current director go. So why haven't they announced him as director yet?
It's Hollywood politics at it's best. Summit does not want to appear all swarmy announcing the replacement of Hardwhicke so quickly. It's also a way to make sure this is not negative publicity in the press and with Twilight's legions of fans. You can also look at it as they are weighing fan reaction to his hiring as well.
I imagine the time would be right sometime around this weekend or later.-Dr.FB
