Mrs. Robin Thicke was at The Cannes Film Festival promoting “Precious”, a film by Lee Daniels. Patton stars as Ms. Rain, a caring school teacher who tries to help Gabourey Sidibe’s character get away from her abusive mother, (Mo’Nique) and a father who raped her. From the reviews, this movie is a sure tear jerker and who knows it just may get a nomination.
The movie is based on a Sapphire’s novel, ‘Push’.
Patton is one very lucky women, she is married to the hotness of a man, Robin Thicke….I know I had to say it

Correction: Mariah Carey is in the movie but does not play the lead role you described. The role of the abused “teenage” girl is played by newcomer Gabby Sibide. Mariah has a small part as a social worker in the movie.
