    Fantastic!
    I love these!!!
    It’s so weird but I drew something like the sun moon symbol about a month ago except what I drew was in the exact opposite where my sun came out of the moon, but mine also had 1 eye and my moon also had a silhouette.
    (I love when synchronicity happens to me)
    …. and I am loving these pictures!!!

    Maybe one day we’ll all be of one accord, that would be so awesome!

    Ure always insightful Dig!! These posters are awesome, and Its almost like looking at two different versions of Prince even though they look very simular on the one poster. I wonder if this is anything to do with him being a Gemini. Funny thing is often when I draw the symbol I like to put an eye in the middle of it lol

    The pix remind me of Sam’s artwork, but these are looser and not as refined. I’m not sure if I like them or not. My first pix would be the second one down…it doesn’t show any “skin”, which jut looks weird.

    Imo, this is the Old Prince(80’s era), TAFKAP(90’S) and the New (World) Prince (Musicology to present). The artwork is a clear depiction as to how he has and is still evolving. I went back and took a good look at the inside cover of the Musicology cd (note:Prince pic/A Million Days…similarities with the artwork). Next, I pulled out Lotusflow3r cd and played “Immersion” over and over again and again….(Bria sings the song, however you can hear Prince singing in the background. I connected the dots in this way: Senses(See, Hear, Touch, Feel and Smell), Spirituality, Knowledge , Life/Love….lots of substance in this one piece of artwork…not the artist/musician but a “man”( that name happens to be Prince) “all wrapped up” in a blanket of love 4 God and Humanity….what a “priceless gift” from God Himself. Each side is a symbol of the parts that make up the whole. Much love to you, Prince

    I got a purple suspision that lurks in my mind that these shows are gonna last all day and all night!
    I dig the artwork. But does anyone else see the hidden penis in one of the pics.

    Because this master is one of music; readily, we must think of it. Specifically, in three parts or sonata form, of which three or four are composed; thus three graphics. And too, they are all dyptichs which can be “folds of two works with matching parts”.

    The eye of flame is pointed up, because heritage is denoted, with regard to the word “flame” representing an ethnicity; succinctly, a perfuming essence.

    There has to be blue colouring to demarcate Mr. Nelson’s prominance in the science of odering tones, which music is.

    Film is illustrated on the sleeves of Him, in these grand pictures, which are too, part paper sleeve and real-as agreeable sound should be shown. History, we can surmise, will be recorded and folded in to two.

    There is much wisdom and beauty in this gifting of these motion pictures as cinema verite.

    I believe this is Intelligent tranquil…

    Day and Night
    I like this concept
    Especially since many Prince concerts take place after midnight and some people don’t like to stay up that late 🙂

    The mirror idea with day/night faces is a good one
    the pictures themselves are not very nice.
    It is dark, it doesn’t reflect anything about the venue (Mr Designer, look at pictures of the place, you’ll get new inspirations for sure)

    please find something more funky, more “happy”, more entertaining

    I would go on to say this concept is an extension of Lostusflow3r. The sun God Ra emerged from Lotus petals. The petals would blossom during the day and enfold Ra where he returned to the Lotus at night.

    Hmmm….I am wondering if the 3 in Lotusflow3r is about the Third Dynasty…

    Is that turquoise blue?? Because that would make sense to me.

    Absolutely love this, everything about it. The duality, the blue masks, the harmonious combination of both sun and moon, good and bad, as One.

    I agree that it would make a great future album cover.

    I Love the poster without Prince on it, you can see it on le grand palais official website grandpalais.fr . B&W only, it should be the final poster for the Paris Shows, I would buy one, but not with the man in blue…

    I am sorry to have to say that I find these sketches absolutely horrible, and terrible. I hope Prince doesn’t publish these posters in Paris, that would ruin all the great buzz campaign he’s been doing here recently.

    Please reconsider either the designer, or the concept.
    <— a french fan absolutely horrified at all poster projects.

    i love prince and its a cool concept, but these graphics take away from his prettyman face. Doesn’t even look like Prince to me. I’m a graphic artist. Let me try. :o)

    Not a graphic artist, but I am an artist and I LIKE the artwork! I actually like them all, but the last one with the last one where you can clearly see the combination of photograph and drawing is really appealing to me.
