    As for the ALl Day ALL NIGHT : that song comes from the JILL JONES album ( along with tracks such as MIA BOCCA & For Love )

    the whole concert evolved around this song that was used as an insert communicate with the audience and climaxed at mid show into a dirty tight funk beat with gospel singinf from both prince and the 3 back up singers : SURREAL , Creative and Vicious

    now that i’ve seen both , one could argue that the 1rst one was a big rehearsal ( lots of soundeck ; at some point Prince told the audience : “the soundman guy is french you should tell him better ” but prince was was more laid back and spontaneous ( he played more tracks like Uptown , girl, cool and Party man )

    anyway , Prince took Paris in Storm and he nailed it again big time

    Play list to come later but the first show was amazing
    started righ on time at 5:00 sharp
    the location is just divine ( exept for the sound ) and Princiesque
    he played awhole lot of old stuff ( includin : Uptown , why do you wanna treat me so bad , GIRL !!!! , COOL from The time , mountains , anotherlover, sometimes it snows in April , all the critics loves in PÄRIS )
    the most recent stuff he played was GUITAR !!
    Since he didnt play purple rain u can expect it for the 2nd show !!

    Iám so sad we want 2 go 2 paris….but there was no way ….2 buy tickets…

    We wait here in germany 7 years since one nite alone tour….

    Prince come on….lets do something….in cologne or…oberhausen…

    Negativity find a “hiding” place and stay there 4ever. Positive criticism is a good thing, however 2 inject Failure and the comparing of Miles Davis posters is “unfair”. There is something uniquely different about each design that we will never know, primarly because Prince is “symbolically special” himself….give onself to the “unknown” and say What’s My Name?

    Over the years the looks of a brother fade, if you’ve not noted, over the years the “graphics” (pictures) have become less real and more reel for a “feel” but the deal is the heals are showing the leather cracks. It’s wack but then again look at what the graphical representation is trying to present.

    Sometimes Prince’s sad slide makes me want to hide my eyes because his everXpanding FAILURE makes me want to cry.

    Sigh.

    I’ve been a graphic designer for 15 now, and this, to me, seems very rushed and messy. Its inconsistent with everything else Prince has been doing in terms of graphics or design for the Lotus era.

    Im really bothered by two things – the messy vector graphics of Prince’s face and the awful exposing of his hand and neck. Its seems like there no catch to that, what is it? Is it an error? Is it unfinished?

    I’d give this back and say, work it out more. I wont tell you what my design idea is, I can see a great solution but I wont share it. Sorry.

    But I will say this – design such as this is what happens for various reasons – the rush, last minute, emergency nature of requesting graphics. The using of any random designer or illustrator without giving them TIME to flush out a great poster. The poster can live on as a great showcase of that show.

    I mean, look up some classic Miles Davis posters! They are fantastic and represent the artist and his music and vibe.

    This Im afraid is having NO clear idea or even knowledge of Prince’s music. I bet I can find ideas in the Revolutions “All Day, All Night”

    Put a White Fox in it!

    What I find interesting about these pictures is that the dualities are represented perfectly balanced, but as you go further along, more of the truth is revealed. There is a mirror element to it. Even the date “11”. In numerology the number “11”‘( a master number as are all double numbers) vibrational frequency is of balance, male/female, yin/yang, moon/sun energy perceived simultaneously and yet held in perfect balance. It also represents new beginnings and purity. The number 11 also represents unparalleled spiritual awarenes and can represent a “messenger for God”. In the picture above there is a strong representation of the perfect balance of day/night, sun/moon, and a truth being revealed (as in more of the real Prince and picture being revealed as the pictures progress).
