Do They Know It’s “Christmas” Time At All?

Hello everyone.  I hope this finds you in good spirits.

Is it me or does it not seem like “Christmas” this year?  Maybe I am just the Grinch which is why I ask.

Do any of you have special plans?

I will be working but looking forward to the Laker/Cavalier game afterwards.

Have any of you gotten into the “Christmas” spirit at all?  I think that may be a reason I am not “feeling” it is “Christmas” time.  No one wearing Santa hats, no mistletoe’s anywhere.  No little bows seen on the front of cars.

I am at least trying.  If you look to the right hand side of the site, you will see a music player (Funkenberry Radio) and I added 2 “Christmas” songs in the mix.

Any of you expecting a gift for “Christmas” or get someone a cool gift?  I took care of my car earlier this month so that was my “Christmas” present to myself n then my shopping was done.

Regardless, if you celebrate Christmas, I hope you have a Merry Christmas, if you celebrate something else, happy holidays, if you don’t celebrate at all, I hope you have a great weekend.

Much love to you all and I am VERY VERY thankful for all of you.  May you find your own happiness this weekend through snow or just a friendly smile. -Dr.FB

I am alone but thankful this Christmas Day. I spent my birthday and Christmas in LA with no family here. I couldnt afford to fly home this year. I can say that though this has been a difficult year for me…I am thankful…I got a job at WB…I work in animation…I graduated from art school…I didnt get paralyzed in a car accident this year…I have my car back…I have a roof over my head and food…and I have friends near (LA) and far (Missip) that truly car about me. But most of ALL, I thank GOD for all his blessings. For without HIM, I wouldnt have made it this far.

Have a Merry Christmas my friend! We have to get together to celebrate this thing we called LIFE…GOD IS LOVE…and we will HANG TEN in 2010!

I’m off to Church tonight, which sets me in the right mood. On top of that we are getting DUMPED on by snow….so I’m praying we can all get around tomorrow to make it over to friends house to celebrate Christmas!

First and foremost I’m thankful for God and the son he sent us. Christmas to me is about Christ, but I do love to share gifts and good times with friends and family!

Merry Christmas Doc and thank you for being YOU!

I know what you mean Doc. I ain’t quite got that lovin’ feeing either. I feel there is too much emphasis on gotta buy this, gotta buy that, that we have loss the traditions and spirit of the season which is family, friends and most of all why we truly celebrate CHRISTmas (for those of us who do). Having said that, have a very Merry Christmas, and Blessings, good health and continued success in the New Year.
