Lifehouse, whose biggest hit was "Hanging On A Moment" has another hit on their hands "Halfway Gone" as their CD "Smoke & Mirrors" debuted at #6 on the Billboard charts. That is the band's highest debut ever and it could be debuting on Funkenberry Radio shortly. It is up to you.
Lifehouse is currently set to take the road with Daughtry as the tour kicks off later this week.
Lifehousemusic has the tour dates and more. For now, enjoy the video for "Halfway Gone" and let me know what you think.-Dr.FB
Orianthi will perform on this week's American Idol this Wednesday March 17th.
We broke the news exclusively on Friday to our Twitter Followers and our Facebook Fan Page as Fox did not want to make the official announcement on the site til Monday, so we snuck to our followers because they didn't say we couldn't.
Orianthi will be performing "According To You" on the show, which is slowly creeping up the charts that used to matter, The Billboard Charts and is sitting at Number 17 right now. She has been on Funkenberry Radio's Top 21 for quite a while now.
When we interviewed Orianthi a few weeks back, she let us know that she recorded an updated version of "Stairway To Heaven" by led Zeppelin with Mary J. Blige and guitar God Steve Vai.
ALSO, Orianthi will be performing on this Thursday's "Tonight Show With Jay Leno" and that performance should be hot as well. Janet Jackson will be a guest on the show. As you all should know, Orianthi was due to play with Janet's brother, Michael Jackson (You might have heard of him) before his untimely death. She is all over the documentary "This Is It" which is now out on DVD.
Hope you enjoy the great photo of Orianthi and be sure to check out her rocking performance on "American Idol" this week to see why we are raving about this girl. "This Is NOT It" for her for sure.....-Dr.FB
The official "Telephone" poster for Lady Gaga's video for "Telephone" featuring Beyonce has been released.
The video, which should be hitting over 20 million views on youtube before the middle of the week, has everyone talking, weather you hate it or love it.
The song has been climbing up all the charts and has hit #1 on Funkenberry Radio. Just to let you know, there is talk going on of taking Funkenberry Radio to new levels including it's own station off the site. We will keep you updated on that.
Check out the video for "Telephone" if you haven't already and also be sure to check out our top 21 songs of the week to the left of the site.
For now all, we hear is "Radio Gaga" for real, Queen. For real.-Dr.FB
P.S., that is Tyrese in that video right?
Kesha or Ke$ha if your nasty, within a week has hit number 1 spot on Billboard chart as we predicted wirth her debut CD, taking away the number 1 spot from Susan Boyle who has a had a stranglehold on the top spot for over a month.
It also did not take "Tik Tok" long to make it to the number 1 spot on Funkenberry radio, being the most played song of the week after it's debut. The number 1 spot is made up by you by how many times you access the station, which is to the right on the front page of the web site.
It seems a majority of you are putting down the track but at the same time, are giving it a listen. Congrats to Kesha, who we have a feeling could have a big 2010.-Dr.FB
Hello everyone. I hope this finds you in good spirits.
Is it me or does it not seem like "Christmas" this year? Maybe I am just the Grinch which is why I ask.
Do any of you have special plans?
I will be working but looking forward to the Laker/Cavalier game afterwards.
Have any of you gotten into the "Christmas" spirit at all? I think that may be a reason I am not "feeling" it is "Christmas" time. No one wearing Santa hats, no mistletoe's anywhere. No little bows seen on the front of cars.
I am at least trying. If you look to the right hand side of the site, you will see a music player (Funkenberry Radio) and I added 2 "Christmas" songs in the mix.
Any of you expecting a gift for "Christmas" or get someone a cool gift? I took care of my car earlier this month so that was my "Christmas" present to myself n then my shopping was done.
Regardless, if you celebrate Christmas, I hope you have a Merry Christmas, if you celebrate something else, happy holidays, if you don't celebrate at all, I hope you have a great weekend.
Much love to you all and I am VERY VERY thankful for all of you. May you find your own happiness this weekend through snow or just a friendly smile. -Dr.FB
