We just found out the sad news that the son of George Clinton, George Clinton Jr. is dead.  The Parliament Funkadelic lead-man is on his way to Florida.

Clinton Jr. was found dead in his Tallahassee, Florida apartment Monday afternoon.  The Leon Sheriff’s department is stating right now, there is no foul play.   He was dead for several days and his body decomposed.

Clinton Sr. was notifed earlier today and was in Los Angeles for the Grammys last night.  A worker in the apartment complex was called as Clinton Jr. had not been seen in days and the worker found his body.

    To the family of George Clinton Jr. much love and deepest sympathies for your losses .I speak for so many of my friends and family in remembering the wonderful feelings of fun and excitement your entertainment has given us. We are praying that energy be sent to uplift and embrace you in your time of sorrow. Had not heard of his mother’s(Clinton Sr’s ) passing until now and Ms. Franklin and so we send our condolences for the loss of these loved ones also. I can say I know how you feel having lost my dad to murder,my children and friends but not all at once. Hold on to loved ones left and faith,time will lessen the pain.
