Video~ Whitney Houston “I Will Always Love You” In Australia

Whitney Houston performed in Australia and did “I Will Always Love You” and she sang live…right?

Her voice is not what it once was and we heard she took several breaks during the show but I want to know what you think.

Does Whitney still got it or was the toll of her previous addictions too much?-Dr.FB

Hello just came across your site and have been reading some of your posts and just wondering why you selected a WordPress site dont you find it impossible to do anything with? Been thinking about starting one.

@ Sbacon1999, it’s one thing to not be able to hit the hi’s or low registers or maybe you can but you’re saving your voice for the songs that matter.
But the elected notes, changes of melody and execution is wrong.
The fans ! Some people don’t know any better or they simply don’t care, they are in the Awe my God moment.

Damn I wish Luther Vandross was still here. Now that mofo could sing LIVE fat or skinny but sounded his best chubby. I could go on but I’ve digressed enough. I’ll take it to different spot, I ran monitors for Patti Labelle in 08, she sounded amazing!!! Dunno what happened to Whitney but work it out, retrain and get back into your game.

Man, that was just not good. She knows her voice is jacked up so she played it safe and even playing it safe, her voice still sounded terrible.
It sounded more like Dione Warwick was singing the song and I bet Dione could sing it better. Wow so sad.
Love her as a human being but I’d rather hear the record.

As Simon might say a forgettable performance.

She’s definetly singing live- which EVERYONE always f’n should!…however- all the years of smoking cigarettes, among other things- have taken our Whitney 🙁 sometimes smoke coats your throat to a point that when you stop- it actually hurts it more than if you kept smoking… but, who cares— you still stop smoking. Etta James has the same kind of performance going on (granted shes 124 years old- and still kickin’ ass btw)- she kind of speaks through notes that were legendary- and thats what your going to see- the legend. But, its sad- whitney is DEFINETLY still at a young age- where she should be wrecking it like Pat Benetar and Anne Wilson are…but, so is life- and so is the music business— i like to remember her the way i did when i was 5 years old singing “I believe the Children are our Future” to anyone who would listen… always love my Whitney…

That was really bad and kinda heartbreaking to hear her voice like that. Whitney’s voice is gone. Damn.

When she sat down with Oprah, I really wished she had just acknowledged that all her drug use has negatively affected her voice. Oprah tap danced around it. I would rather see Whitney acknowledge it and say something like she still loves to sing and feels the passion when she performa. So yeah, she might not hit the same notes anymore, but she’s still worth seeing. I thought this was better than that GMA performance she did around the time of Oprah. The fans in the video don’t seem disappointed…
