This is a f#$%ing DREAM set list. I am so excited for the SF shows.

Having seen the set list and read the reviews, I have decided to head down to SoCal for the Anaheim shows as well. Hope my tax refund comes soon!

    Thank you Prince!

Been debating whether or not to get tickets to the San Diego show. If that’s the setlist for the show here, I’m not going.

$250 for 3rdEyeGirl promotional tour? Heck no…. I was expecting epic shows like the one in Austin

YESSSS!!! I’m LOVING the setlist. Can’t wait for the San Francisco shows. Bring it on Prince! Sounds like us hardcores are going to be in absolute heaven (as I am just reading the Vancouver setlist). My mouth is already watering….

Oh, and he looks ridiculously GOOD. From hair/head on down… wow….

Wow, great photos Dr. Funkenberry! I read some of the reviews and then decided I had read enough! People are never happy, and people will always find something to complain about, be it that he gave out free tickets, gave last minute tickets at 50% off, with some money going to charity, not enough of the old music, too much jamming….It’s a new band, I think that it is amazing these young ladies have the opportuinity to work with someone as fantasstic as Prince! It sounds to me as if they are amazing, just like anyone who he has chosen! Let’s just be thankful he is still doing shows, still influencing new artists, still leaving us breathless with his performances. Of course, I was NOT there, but I think he’s always good! 🙂 Have a good week!

I’d read before this that the show opened with Prince on piano playing Ain’t Gon’ Miss U – but on the official setlist it appears to be The Breakdown. I wonder which is accurate?

Ken, don’t get too worked up. I still haven’t read anything from anyone who paid to attend the shows complaining about the setlist.

Princevault has tentative setlists for both shows. (Google is your friend)

Hope everyone has fun at tonight’s shows, I’ve got to wait until 13-14-15 July

maybe he should’ve went to Europe. majority of Americans hate the unknown & love the familiar. all the media outlets ive seen have been ripping him a new one for not playing purple rain or kiss. I’m an American from Philly btw.

It’s no wonder they had to discount tickets or give them away, though, since many of his best fans can’t afford the exorbitant prices.

The show was incredible. I agree with Ken Reed. Prince fans know exactly what we were going to get when we went into the Vogue. If he had been touring with NPG, as he did on his last visit to Vancouver, then, yes, I would’ve been let down by not performing some of the older songs. That said, I was impressed with this new music and these women can lay it down. The only thing I will say is that $275 is a lot of money. I actually preferred the jam session he did at Bar none that only cost $60. I think I preferred that one because the music was funkier. As well, Shelby J sang lead on a lot of the material. The show at the Vogue was a Jimi Hendrix infused, psychedelic rock show. All the Prince fans around me went home super happy…myself included. These shows are intended for long time fans who are willing to go on his musical journey. I’m willing and able anywhere, anytime.

It was an amazing show. Raw- fresh- LOUD! The lighting was amazing, a show in itself seeing the back ligh come through his fabulous hair. The shadows… The sound excellent. The venue- sigh! Amazing! I was able to see both shows front row as Hannah’s hubby was giving out VIP wristbands, so experiencing him so close, the energy, the rock and roll!! The set list was for pure hard fans only and probably why I loved it so much!! Did I want more? Of course! My Prince fix can never be satisfied and I would have loved to hear him jan into the night.. He always leaves us wanting more, but he always comes through. It was the best show I have seen and talking to other fans in the audience and while cueing to get in to the second show after having seen the first, the feeling was the same. Genius. Brilliant.
3rdeyegirl is wonderful and talented and this is going to be a show/tour that goes down in the books for sure!!
Only downside- no merchandise! I wanted a shirt or tourbook..

I am so tired of hearing reviews explaining how Prince is not doing a “best of” set list. Many of us appreciate the fact that he is rocking out with a great new and fresh band. It is a shame that many modern audiences who do go to see Prince and other great artists prefer the redundant, over the remarkable. Let us appreciate the true greats while we can!
