Posted at 03:47h, 27 FebruaryI’m not holding my breath because Prince isn’t the type to do what people want, but I’d really like to see HIM come to Minneapolis the weekend of June 28th and perform along with Bobby Z and others at Bobby’s upcoming 3rd Annual Benefit. It coincides with the 30th Anniversary of Purple Rain and special plans are in the works by Bobby and his peeps to make the weekend extra special.
Being that Prince doesn’t like to “go back” and due to his being a Jehovah’s Witness, doesn’t celebrate secular, non-JW Holidays and Anniversaries, I don’t see him doing Bobby’s benefit. He didn’t go to the 1st Benefit when the entire Revolution reunited and played. Nor did he go to Sheila E.’s Family Jam in 2003 when the entire Revolution reunited and performed the first time. I don’t see Prince doing it now either. Cool that he’s still playing “Let’s Go Crazy” though.
