…And The Top Selling Album Of 2012 Is….
Adele. Photo: Vogue.com
The top selling album of 2012 should come as no surprise because it is the same top selling album of 2011.
Adele's "21" sold over 8 million copies in 2012 making her the top selling album of 2012 over Taylor Swift's "Red" which sold 5.2 million copies and One Direction finished in 3rd and 4th with "Up All Night" & "Take Me Home" respectively.-DocFB

Adele Gets Emotional As “Skyfall” Wins For Best Song At Oscars
You can now add Academy Award Winner to the list of accomplishments for Adele in a short amount of time.
Her acceptance speech was short and to the point. She thanked her co-writer for Paul Epworth, who she emotinally thanked for "believing in me all the time." Paul took the mic after and together, they had an acceptance speech totaling about 20 seconds!
Adele Loves Dr.Funkenberry......she just forgot to thank him.
We are very happy for Adele and we have a high quality version of her performing "Skyfall" at the Oscars, we will post it.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Racking up the Awards big time....

Adele Goes To Bat & Defends Chris Brown
At the Grammys last week, Chris Brown did not stand up when Frank Ocean beat him for an award at the show. It was then reported the photo above was showing Adele dressing down Chris Brown for not standing when he lost. Sometimes, a photo can be misleading.
So Adele took to Twitter to clear the whole thing up.
Chris Brown and I were complimenting each other in that photo actually!
— Adele (@OfficialAdele) February 13, 2013
Chris Brown seemed relieved and happy that someone was finally sticking up for the troubled singer, responding to her tweet in kind.
Pleasure to meet u @officialadele I heard your words and thats all that matters. Thank u for speaking truth. CB

Redonkulous! Adele Returns To #1 Spot On Billboard Charts
We are not sure if the album is that good....still...or there just is a lack of new good music CD's being released, but Adele has returned to the number 1 spot on the Billboard Album Charts.
Adam Lambert, Carrie Underwood, and Adele have been trading places for number 1 for the past month. She sold 74,000 copies this week after her NBC special.
We have a feeling this stay at number 1 will not be long with new CD's by Usher and Wacka Flaka Flame that came out this week.
The Adele Cd has now sold over 9 million copies. Unheard of in this day and age.
So..who doesn't own this Adele CD?-DocFB

Adam Lambert’s “Trespassing” Set To Debut At Number 1?
Adam Lambert released "Trespassing" yesterday and it is set to debut at number 1 next week on the Billboard album charts.
Although the CD is only estimated to sell around 80,000 copies, the lowest amount since last August, which was Adele's "21" btw, we see "Trespassing" having staying power unlike say "MDNA" by Madonna which quickly rose to number 1 but dropped faster than Lebron James trying to take the last shot in a playoff game.
But could Carrie Underwood 's "Blown Away" or Adele's "21" still block Lambert from hitting number 1? It really depends on Lambert's performance on American Idol this week. We think he will blow people away and get people heading to I-Tunes or wherever they still sell CD's nowadays.
What about you? have YOU purchased "Trespassing" yet?-DocFB
