Diagnosis: Getting frustrated that the best performances at these award shows are usually the last performance.....

Nicki Minaj Gets Us Caught With The Booty & In The Beez Trap At BET Awards (Uncensored)

Was Nicki Minaj letting Kim Kardashian know that she is the bootie queen now with that booty moment as KK was in the front for the show? Nicki Minaj performed "Champion" and "Beez In The Trap" with 2 Chainz at The BET Awards.

I could have sworn on the live performance, that I saw Nicki lip sync. Hmm. On this version, I don't see it. Either the booty distracted me or there was some good editing going on.

Speaking of editing, on this version, the cuss words are not bleeped. So for those that enjoy a performance without silence in it, here you go.

This was way better than her performance at the Grammy's earlier this year. Then again, anything is better than that debacle.-DocFB

Kanye West, Big Sean, Pusha T and 2 Chainz Open Up BET Awards (Uncensored)

Kanye's freestyle at the end makes this performance of the BET Awards good. Kanye West, Big Sean, Pusha T and 2 Chainz performed "Mercy" and "Too Cold", the song formerly known as "Theraflu" as Kanye went off.

Main problem; the bleeping. I say this every award show but even Snoop and Dre back in the day would clean up their performances for award shows and TV appearances. It may go over well with the crowd, but for those of us at home, it sucks!

On that note, enjoy this uncensored web version and hopefully in the future, artists of today will show how talented they are by being able to keep it clean and come up with different lyrics. Don't worry, you won't lose street cred over it.-DocFB

Video: Patti LaBelle & Friends BET Awards Performance

Well, the BET Awards had it's ups and downs like all award shows.  The whole winner being presented on a tablet will now be the future instead of envelopes.

Also, the BET Awards took a page from the Grammys and had artists perform together, such as Mary J. Blige and Anita Baker.

The main stand out at an award show again was Cee Lo Green kicking off the Patti LaBelle & Friends performance.

Prince Associated Artist Drops New Music!

Shelby Johnson

Shelby Johnson

For those that are not in the know, they will be like "Hey, it's the woman with the bald head who sat next to Prince at the BET Awards!" to those in the know, will know her from her performing with Prince on tour and at his memorable Super Bowl performance a few years ago.

Shelby Johnson aka Shelby J. has a new song out entitled "Take It" and it is remixed by Italian producers Menini & Viani.

Shelby J. had this to say about the song; "It's called "Take It" & I'm writing & singing all about living your LIFE to the FULLEST!! Check it out & I hope u like it."

The song is definitely for the dance floor and we even hear a spot where you could mix "Show Me Love" from Robin S. up in there.

Check out the song HERE at BeatPort.com and let us know what you think!-Dr.FB

Eminem Shows He Is “Not Afraid” At BET Awards

Eminem along with B.O.B. and Keisha Cole had in my opinion one of the best moments at the BET Awards...aside from the dead air censoring the curse words when Em performed "Not Afraid" even tho he did try to censor himself at times.

I just wish I could say Eminem's new CD is as good as this performance but I can't.

Regardless, make sure to check out Em's performance of "Not Afraid" at the end of this performance n let me know what you think.-Dr.FB

Kanye West BET Performance Reachs Mountain Peak

OK, first off, Kanye West is going nowhere. He has talent and his whole Taylor Swift interruption is done. Enough time has passed. He didn't beat up someone. Ahem.  So get over it.

My only problem with Kanye West's performance is that the whole dead air we hear and on other performances.  What may come off great live in the place comes off horrible at home with all of the dead air to censor it.

If you have so much talent, for TV appearances, come up with different lyrics so we can actually hear everything.

What did you think of Kanye's performance of "Power" at the BET Awards?-Dr.FB
