Britney Spears Takes In A Dodgers Game; Talks Smurfs
Britney Spears took in a Los Angeles Dodgers game, taking her kids Jayden James & Sean Preston to the game, where she met Andre Either.
Britney is also doing the "Smurfs 2" soundtrack with a song entitled "Ooh La La" which will be out later this year.
"I have always loved the Smurfs as a kid and now my boys are the biggest Smurfs fans ever. I wanted to surprise them with a song in the movie. I know they'll think it's Smurftastic!”
So is Britney really a Dodger fan or just like them because they wear blue like the Smurfs? Hmm.-DocFB

Britney Spears Shines At Elton John’s Oscar Party
Britney Spears showed up as a brunette to Elton John’s 21st Annual AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Party last night.
She wore to the event in West Hollywood wearing Michael Cinco Couture dress with YSL heels.
It is rumored that Britney is dating again after calling off her engagement to Jason Trawick earlier this year. She showed up to the event "solo" in the Hollywood meaning with no date.

Uh Oh! Britney Spears Is Not Impressed!
Britney Spears did not seem impressed with cameras catching her and fiance Jason Trawick along with her kids and her puppy Hannah Spears, while arriving for the California Music Academy over the weekend.
The event took place in Calabassas, California this weekend and Briney dressed casual cool for the event. Almost as cool as the looks she was throwing while being photographed.
Well, at least they were able to capture her and Jason together and put the rumors to rest that the couple broke up.
We have a feeling she will be smiling extra hard this week on "X Factor" to make up for these pics.-DocFB

Maybe Britney Spears wants to be known as Britney Bitch as she is using her famous quote line in her new duet "Scream & Shout" with Black Eyed peas front-man Wil.I.Am.
Wil is rocking the mini-gumby hairstyle ala Bobby Brown back in the day and we had a feeling he would show his one of a kind car in the video and he did. Britney's voice at times...does not even sound like her. I wonder....
The song is fun and it is always nice to see Britney not behind a judge's desk. What do U think?-DocFB

Rihanna, Britney, Katy Or P!nk? Who Is Billboard’s Top Songs Artist On The Past 20 Years?
The top Billboard artists of the past twenty years were all females; Rihanna, Britney Spears, Katy Perry and P!nk. But only one was the number one top pop artist. Who was it?
Rihanna is the number 1 top pop artist of the past 20 years charting 34 times. That is 21 top ten hits and 9 number one songs. Katy Perry has 9 number one songs herself in the past 5 years, tying Rihanna for most number ones.
Rihanna debuted in 2005, 7 years after Britney and P!nk respectively. Britney charted at number 2 and P!nk at number 3. The Billboard Charts still matter right? My check from them hasn't arrived in the mail yet so I can still be critical.
Rihanna tweeted the news to her 26 million twitter followers: "Billboard crowned me #1 Top 40 artist of the decade just [seven] years into this!! My fans just majorly shat on ur existence."

American Idol Finale Underwhelms, Much Like This Season
Leave it to the judges to save the show on the American Idol finale as Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler along with his band Aerosmith to make the show somewhat watchable.
It was obvious after Tuesday's show that Phillip Phillips was going to be the next American Idol. Maybe if Jessica Sanchez was able to perform with Jennifer Holliday on Tuesday's show, she would have made it more interesting.
Chaka Khan dazzled with her very skinny self and Neil Diamond showed that he can still dress sharp and bring his own style to the show.
There was a tribute to Robin Gibb that was somewhat off key. A tribute for Donna Summer that was to feature Sheila E. never made it to live air. Guess there just wasn't time after an on air proposal from former Idol castoff's Ace and a girl with a nice backside.
The finale underwhelmed like it did for most of the season. We were not talking about the performances, aside from Jessica Sanchez being "saved" weeks ago. Nope. We focused on Jennifer Lopez's dresses and some overobsessed on her make up. We looked for what Steven would say.
We never had that shining moment. We had a moment when Sanchez did "I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston earlier in the season. To show how much this season lacked, they had Sanchez sing the song again last night.
The American Idol Finale used to pull in Super Bowl numbers with special guests and a few surprises. There were no surprises. Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler made it bearable last night but not "must see" at all.
So, expect Jennifer to get her $25 million plus. Expect Tyler to pull in $12 million and to see them next year. The thing is, unless the talent improves, something has to change on Idol.
Somewhere, Simon Cowell is scheming. If the judges of American Idol are stealing the show, his judges will do more than that. With Britney Spears signed on and up and comer Demi Lovato there as well, it makes "must see tv" for X Factor.
The reason? The talent pool on X Factor was much better than Idol's this year. Simon knew his show needed improvements and fast. Hiring Spears and Lavato gets them age groups that Idol no longer has.
Idol had to remind us about Kris Evans and Taylor Hicks last night. They even took credit for Adam Lambert (Not an Idol winner) hitting number 1 knocking off Carrie Underwood, who was an Idol winner.
The Voice isn't dominating yet although the talent pool on that show was better than Idol this season. Simon Cowell knows Idol dropped the ball and he intends to pick it up and not give it back.

Will Britney Spears & Demi Lovato Shine On X Factor?

So the worst kept secret in Hollywood is out; Britney Spears & Demi Lovato are your new X Factor judges, replacing Nicole Sherzinger and Paula Abdul. Still no word on who is replacing Steve Jones.
Over a month ago we talked about Britney's millions to judge on X Factor, $15 million to be exact, where there were others wanting to join the panel, including most vocally, Chaka Khan. They went and signed Demi Lovato instead, wanting an even younger demographic.
It has been reported that Britney was nervous at the press conference Monday and there are photos of her where she appears to have been biting her nails quite bad. She stumbled in her speech. Those that wanted her to fail and cause a train wreck on live TV are already salivating like birds in the desert over live meat. Pathetic.
As for Demi Lovato, others cannot go one sentence on her without saying "who" or talking about her barely getting paid a million dollars to be on the show. So what? Those that read DrFunkenberry.com on the regular know all about Demi Lovato with her ginormous hit "Skyscraper" last year and the problems she has had with her weight and other issues. People forget, she is not only judging but mentoring. Whose to say she does not get the girls 12-18? Her advice will be spot on as she is not so removed from that age. She will be able to help them in ways the other judges can't.
As for L.A. Reid and Simon Cowell, let's male no mistake about it; these are Simon's girls, not Reids. Ahhh, L.A., did you think we would forget last year when our girl Drew covered Lovato's "Skyscraper" and you called it "an old people song" and got booed by the crowd? Nope, we didn't forget buddy. Chris Rene so far has had more success than Melanie so far so we will give you that. Perhaps you are not as in touch as you thought is all. I remember you telling a friend of the site one time that he was "out of touch" but he has been proving to you ever since that "he is the touch" buddy.
All in all, I am looking forward to X Factor. Not for the train wreck. Britney will have her struggles but will still prove people wrong. For those that do not know who Demi is, we look forward to her judging, her input, and showing those Italian roots when Simon or L.A. try to put her down.
