PRINCE & 3RDEYEGIRL are set to take over the legendary Fillmore venue for 2 shows on March 19th.
Tickets for show 1 are for sale HERE.
Tickets for show 2 are on sale HERE.
After performing at the Fox Theater in Oakland over the weekend, there was rumors of more shows to happen there but we hear they didn't happen because of the artist wanting tickets sold at the door to prevent scalping instead of being sold online. Since no agreement was reached, no further shows happened.
We though the Filmore shows would be tickets at the door but with the concerts now being for charity and with the most expensive ticket being $2500, the tickets at the door concept was just not going to happen.
We hinted at the shows yesterday on Twitter and the Facebook Fan Page. When tickets went on sale tonight, Marc E. posted the links for the tickets which people had a hard time finding since it was under PRIVATE EVENT.
The questions I was asked in the past 24 hours on the fan page were something else. You answer he is playing THE Fillmore and you have people asking over and over, yea, I know it is IN Fillmore but where. It seems THE Fillmore was not enough help.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Have fun for those lucky enough to get in!!!!
Elevate Oakland raised just over $110,000 through fundraising efforts and the inaugural benefit concert, which was presented by Oakland’s own Sheila E. and held at The Fox Theatre in Oakland this past last weekend.
Funds raised through this event will go to support art and music education programs in Oakland’s public schools where no art or music curriculum is offered and will continue to support the current programs in need at schools like Castlemont High School.
“We are truly grateful for the success of Elevate Oakland’s first benefit concert. The generosity of the artists who donated their performances and time is absolutely amazing. The support of the community, the teachers, all of our sponsors and the dedication of all our volunteers is what made this event such a success,” in a joint-statement issued by Elevate Oakland’s co-founders Sheila E., Jason Hofmann, Lynn Mabry and Yoshi Akiba, “We definitely plan to make this an annual event and are already planning the next one.”

The charity is run by Sheila E. and Lynn Maybry and it benefits Vista Del Mar, giving underprivileged kids a chance to be taught music and the donating of musical instruments. You have no idea what this means to the kids of a place like Vista Del Mar.
Others scheduled to attend are James Pickens Jr., Sofia Milos, Justin Chambers, and more.
The event will be at Boulevard3 this Sunday and we hope you can attend.

Thanks to Sheila & Lynn for what they do for Vista Del Mar.-Dr.FB
The Kardashian boxing event took place in early November and was taped for "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" last night.
I was hoping the filmed it and they did. First up was Robert Kardashian and what they thought would be friendly sparring turned into Rob getting knocked early and often. It was more brutal than I thought it would be and Rob went back for more even after the guy knocked his protective gear off. When Rob was going down for the final time, the guy was trying to get in another punch. This is why celeb boxing matches are usually against each other.
The boxing event was delayed for an hour while they tended to Robert's injuries and during that time, Scott Disick (Kourtney's baby daddy) and Khloe Kardashian backed out of the event.
Kim Kardashian was ever the trooper in my eyes as if Kim did not go, the people who paid to see the event and donate to charity would have been very mad. I am sure they took measures to protect Kim, but still very, very big of Kim to go on with the fight.
Bruce Jenner fought as well and won his match. This was one of the most interesting episodes of "The Kardashians" this year.
Now, if you could fight Scott Disick or any of the Kardashians, would you? Who would you want to go one on one with?-Dr.FB
Please, please, please say they filmed this!
Kim Kardashian and the rest of the Kardashian family had a a charity boxing night at the Commerce Casino and things did not go as planned.
Rob kardashian was up first and he had a much larger guy win the bid. Now, hopefully the rules of the contest stated it would be friendly sparring, but the larger opponent went after Rob big time and floored Rob.
The Kardashian sisters quickly ran to Rob's aid as the rest of the events were delayed for an hour as they tended to him. Fans were upset at the wait and it seems Scott Disick (Kourtney's baby daddy whom people wanted to go after) and Khloe Kardashian backed out of their matches, most likely after what happened to Rob.
Bruce Jenner and Kim Kardashian both fought, with Bruce winning and Kim losing. That is big of those 2 after what happened but I am sure affter what happened with Rob, they took precauitonary measures.
I want this filmed just because this is way more interesting to me then a wedding which was filmed but is not exactly real.-Dr.FB
