Clemons helped shape the sound and image of Bruce Springsteen, being an integral part of Bruce's band, the E Street Band. Clemons also had a pop resurgence of late, performing with Lady Gaga and being in her latest video, "The Edge Of Glory", which came out earlier this week.
Clemons has been in pain for several years, suffering from back and hip issues along with having double knee replacement surgery shortly before performing with Bruce at the Super Bowl in 2009.-Dr.FB

As some of you may know, Lady Gaga worked with Clarence Clemons on her latest CD "Born This Way" and his sax playing is highlighted on Gaga's "Edge Of Glory" which is her latest single.
The E Street Band member suffered a stroke over the weekend. Gaga made a get well video and incorporated her fans wishing a recovery for Clarence as well. Kind of cool.
Clarence is rumored to be in the video for "Edge Of Glory" which will world premiere on "So You Think You Can Dance" this Thursday night on Fox.
For now, check out Gaga's get well wishes to Clarence.-Dr.FB
Clarence Clemons, the E Street Band member and famous sax player has suffered a stroke. The 69-year-old musician has recently performed with Lady Gaga and recorded her latest hit, "Edge Of Glory" recently.
Showbiz411 broke the story (Is it that hard to do TMZ?) about the musician and said he is seriously ill after suffering the stroke. He is one of the original members of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band.
There is not further info at this time. We are sending prayers to Clemons and his family at this time of need and hope he gets well soon. 69 is not that old my man.-Dr.FB
