It is time for #FlashbackFriday with "Is This Love" by Whitesnake. "Is This Love" is from Whitesnake's self-tilted album from 1987.

Lead singer David Coverdale and guitarist John Sykes wrote the song which is rumored to have been written with Tina Turner in mind.

The song reached number #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. The video famously features Tawny Kitaen, David Coverdale's girlfriend at the time.-DocFB

It is the first day of summer and after 5 p.m., it is 84 degrees right now. So what better time to have "Summertime" by DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince as the song for #FlashbackFriday!

The song reached number #1 on the Billboard R&B charts but only #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 when it was released on June 20th, 1991

The song contains a loop of "Summertime Madness" by Kool & The Gang released in 1794.

The song did win Jeff & Will a Grammy for best rap performance by a duo or group in 1992.-DocFB
