Chris Evans, the new Captain America, opened the New York Stock Exchange this week along with a full movie poster behind him and the Marvel comics and film logo around him. With the economy the way it is, you would think it would be the Red Skull ringing the opening bells.
Evans opened the market and trading and one can only hope the movie is marketable for Marvel more than Green Lantern was for DC Comics and Warner Bros. Pictures.

Diagnosis: What? No Tony Stark At The End Of Trading Making A Cameo?
He is the Green Lantern. He is married to Scarlett Johansson. Now, he is People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive.
I think it is a good choice. It seems there are 2 covers. The cover I think you would like more, I posted for your eyes and other things below. So, you have big Ryan and little Ryan.
Hard to believe the actor is 34 years old.
So, my question to you is; Did People Get it right this year?-Dr.FB
Blake Lively showed up at Comic Con to promote "Green Lantern" and excite fan boys everywhere.
The Gossip Girl hottie looks like she just may prove people wrong that she was a bad choice for the love interest of Hal Jordan in the movie.
Add Ryan Reynolds to the mix and "Green Lantern" is set for major success next summer.
What do you think of Blake's outfit?-Dr.FB
Ryan Reynolds has just been cast as "Green Lantern" and I must say I am way surprised.
It's a great pick but, what about his recurring role as "DeadPool" in all the Marvel movies upcoming? With "Green Lantern" being a DC character, could it be a conflict of interest? We are glad he won, I want to make that clear.
It was between Ryan, Bradley Cooper and Jared Leto? Jared leto? Seriously?
The contract has not been signed yet. Reynolds was signed a few years ago to be "The Flash" but plans for that fell through. Will it happen again with "Green Lantern" or will green prevail over yellow?-Dr.FB
Marvel Comics is not the only one with big movie news as DC Comics through Warner Brothers Pictures announced more news regarding the upcoming "Green Lantern" movie.
Marc Guggenheim, who I had the pleasure of meeting this weekend, is writing the Green Lantern Movie. He did a recent interview with Sci-Fi and had a lot to say. The movie, whose budget is a staggering $150 Million, still does not have a lead actor for the Hal Jordan version of the series.
Marc had this to say about the rumors that Bradley Cooper & Chris Pine are being considered for the role:
"I mean, they're all false insofar as we haven't chosen anyone yet. They're still in the negotiations, you know? There's a lot of names being talked about, and there's a lot of people being met, and a lot of ... actors reading the script."
Marc has done a lot in the industry so far, TV, movie and in comics as well and I am pulling for the "Eli Stone" writer. I am worried about the "150 Million" budget but have a feeling if anyone can make a profit from that, Marc and the boys can.-Dr.FB
Common has been scratched as the lead in the Green Lantern film. For almost a year and a half it seemed that he had the role as "John Stewart" locked up.
Something has happened recently and the other person up for the role was Tyrese. Not sure if Tyrese is in the lead or they may be bringing someone else in.
Common would have been a good choice but now we will never know.-Dr.FB
