Smoking! Justin Bieber Set To Host & Perform On Saturday Night Live
Maybe Justin Bieber's pediatrician prescribed him the weed he allegedly smokes. No maybe's about it that Justin Bieber will be the host and musical guest of Saturday Night Live on Feb. 9th 2013.
Keep in mind that the Grammy Awards are on Feb. 10th. With Justin having no Grammy nominations surprisingly, he was available that weekend.
We wonder if Justin will poke fun at the photos circulating of him holding a blunt last week.-DocFB

Bruno Mars Shines As Host & Musical Guest Of Saturday Night Live
Well, he successfully did it. Bruno Mars hosted and was the musical performer on Saturday Night Live this weekend, easily the best show of the season so far.
Mars kicked off the show with a musical number and then in his first skit, dressed in drag for "The Haters Talk Show" where he looked comfortable dressing up as a woman.

Zooey Deschanel will have hosting duties this week on Saturday Night Live with musical guests Karmin. The last 2 promo's are somewhat funny...the first few though....eh.
"New Girl" is a huge hit for Fox and I have to say it gets better every week, kind of like the promos for SNL.
Here is hoping she has a blast hosting Saturday Night Live and entertains big time.

Ricky Gervais Says He’s Done Hosting Globes As Ratings Hold Steady

Ricky Gervais says after hosting the Golden Globes for a 3rd time, that he is done as host. He kinda said that last year though.
The Golden Globes drew in 16.8 million viewers, only slightly lower than last years 17 million. Still, it is the highest rated award show of the season, beating out the American Music Awards and the Emmys.
Ricky did a good job hosting. The problem was, after last year, we were expecting another no holds barred attack fest on actual celebrities, not talk of Kim Kardashian and her lame marriage.
We kind of want Ricky to be permanent host just because he gives you that factor of being unpredictable.-DocFB

Katy Perry will be hosting Saturday Night Live on December 10th with musical guest Robyn.
We know Katy could host and perform but it is interesting to see some shine go to Robyn. She was also the opening act of Katy's "California Dreams" tour.
Katy Perry should hold the record for most numbers off of 1 album by that time as well. Right now, she is tied with Michael Jackson's "Bad" album for 5 number 1's.
We have a feeling her husband Russell Brand might show up for this episode as well.-DocFB

Eddie Murphy In Serious Talks To Host Oscars

When I first saw the wire that Eddie Murphy was in talks to host the 2012 Academy Awards, I thought maybe it was 1989. Eddie hosting the award show in that purple jump suit would be interesting. But, this is serious. Eddie looks like he will be the Oscar host.
When Eddie was at the Oscars a few years ago, he did not even stay for the whole show after he found out he did not win for "Dreamgirls" and who could blame him? This time, though, he would have to stay for the whole show. The producer of the show is going to be Brett Ratner, who is making Eddie's latest movie with Ben Stiller "Tower Heist" opening by the end of the year.
One has to wonder if Eddie, who was one of the funniest stand-up comics in the 80's, still has the juice for now. Eddie's routine nowadays would get major flack for how he would go after gays and everybody.
It shows that Hollywood is forgiving, or at least has amnesia when it comes to talent.-Dr.FB
