Katt Williams is back in the news again. The comedian was arrested at a Wal-Mart earlier this week in the parking lot. Someone said that Williams or one of his entourage whipped out a shotgun at that Wal-Mart. The charge was not true which was found after Williams was detained.
The other arrest stemmed from a burglary charge from early November. Katt was not having this many issues when he lived in Woodland Hills, California. Just saying.-Dr.FB
Have you ever had a guest in your home that took something from you? What if that guest was Katt Williams, the pimpin' pimpin comedian?
Katt Williams was trying to break into the place he was staying at with a crowbar. He had been living at the residence for a month. He was booked and bail was set at $40,000 grand which has not been paid yet.
The police say about $3,500 in jewelry was stolen but Williams lawyers are denying. His lawyers says he wears more than that on a daily basis so why would he steal it? Well, if you know Katt, that is kind of true.
If you all remember, last November, Katt was hospitalized after acting weird in public, showing up to a hotel wearing nothing but a robe saying that they were out to get them, but never saying who was out to get them.
One has to wonder if Katt's obsession with pot plays into this at all. I have some friends who get very paranoid after smoking that stuff. Regardless of the situation, this is nothing like getting caught with a gun at the Burbank airport, which Katt did get caught with. You really don't want to be messing with those cops from the South Katt.
I hope you are innocent n this shizz passes. Craziness isn't it? Kind of sad too.-Dr.FB
It is being reported that comedian Kat Williams was checked into a mental hospital on Friday. It happened in Sumpter, South Carolina.
He was also arrested for a gun charge at airport for the 2nd time in 3 years earlier this month.
Sumter Police say officers responded to a call in reference to suspicious behavior by Williams at a local hotel. Williams reportedly showed up to the hotel in a bathrobe with a towel wrapped around his head inquiring about a room. Williams later left after asking for directions which police made no arrest at that time due to no crime being broken.
Williams later appeared on the doorsteps of attorney Garryl Deas’s office around 9:00 AM who Williams sought to hire because he said police were “attempting to violate his rights.” Williams went on talking to the attorney until around 9:30 about his entertainment career and rumors that he had perished in a plane crash. At that time, the attorney had to leave for a court appearance, which Williams asked, at that point, could he wait in the office til the attorney returned, which Deas said he could.
Deas later returned around 10:30 a.m. to find Williams still waiting, but now Williams’ behavior had changed. “His demeanor was a little troubled,” Deas said, stating the actor seemed “disoriented.” This was the time when family or close friends showed up seeking to have the comedian committed, Deas said.
Continuing his erratic behavior, Deas says Williams began “speaking gibberish,” saying “that he doesn’t trust anyone anymore” and that everyone had turned against him.
He was then checked into a hospital when family members showed up.
His publicist released this statement on Saturday:
Following an arduous 300 shows and an 18-month touring schedule that left him incredibly fatigued, Katt felt compelled to be with his family in an effort to deal with his stress. While doing so, he is under a doctor’s care.
As this is a private and personal matter, we hope the media will respect his family’s request for privacy.
