My condolences to the family,loved ones & fans of Patrick.  Well it seems I won’t be getting that letter delivered.

I had hoped to let Patrick know before he passed what an impact he made so many years ago on a young girl in Illinois.  A dance and a few encouraging words changed my focus on dancing in another direction.Because of him I took ballet and I believe having that training has helped me in many other areas of life…not only dance.

I have him to thank for that.  Then he was just getting started in the acting field.  But to me he was a dancer with the Joffrey Ballet and I was impressed!

Many years later I had a chance to meet him again…It was a last minute hurried thing so I did not get to say all that I would have liked to.  But I finally had a picture made with him.

He was a very kind,down to earth,strong man and I just wanted to let him know what a positive influence he made on me and my life.

Thank-you for being a light in my life.

After a long battle with pancreatic cancer, Patrick Swayze has died. He was 57 years old.

Patrick starred in 2 of the biggest romantic movies of all time, “Dirty Dancing” and “Ghost”.  He leaves behind a wife Lisa Neimi, whom he was married to for 34 years.  Everyone who Patrick met through the years had nothing but nice things to say about him. Always on time, always professional, just a true gentleman.

We all knew his struggle with pancreatic cancer and how he was fighting it, and for a while beating it. “I’m a miracle”, he proclaimed last year when he was filming a TV show for the  A& E network.  I posted a photo of Patrick Swayze about 2 weeks ago of him being escorted out of the hospital in a wheelchair he was so weak. We knew that he was going to die, it was just a matter of time, but it does not make it any less sad.

I will remember him as the last time I saw him, singing “Play That Funky Music” at The Roosevelt Hotel in 2007.

Patrick Swayze has been in the fight of his life ever since he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Earlier this week, we were able to see him for the first time in over a month looking frail but a fighting face.

He was brought back to his car in a wheelchair after visiting Cedars Sinai Hospital. He has been an inspiration and we can only wonder what is going on with his fight as we only know what he tells us and what we see with our own eyes.

It has been 3 months since we last saw Patrick Swayze and I must say, he is looking better, as good as you can look for someone who is fighting what he is fighting.

It’s been some time since Patrick Swayze was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and he is still fighting, at least from what these pictures show that were taken in Los Angeles over the weekend.

With how hot it was in L.A. over the weekend and wearing the cowboy hat to boot, Patrick sure can take the heat.  Let’s be honest, it is not like he is looking like he did in Point Break but still, for what he has been through, it is phenomenal.

While resting and trying to beat cancer’s butt, Patrick has been working on a book, his autobiograghy in fact, which he has entitled “The Time of My Life” and hopefully, he will be alive to see it’s release.

It is being reported that Kim Jong Il has Pancreatic Cancer. He has reportedly been seen ill lately. 

 There has been no confirmation nor denial regarding his health. We did always know he was a pain in the ass though.-Dr.FB

The rumors of Patrick Swayze passing away were long off and to prove it, Patrick released a photo of him and his wife at their home in New Mexico last week. This is the first public appearance or photo of him in about a month.

Glad to see him smiling but still pains my heart to see how skinny he is.  There are traces of what he used to look like but it does look like a different person.  He looks stronger then we last saw him though which is a good thing; either that or he was acting for the camera.  I like to think it is not the latter. 

It has been over a year since Patrick was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and has been in the fight for his life, a majority of the time looking like he was beating it.  Lately, not so much but he is still fighting and I am sure your prayers mean a lot to him.  So keep fighting Patrick and be that miracle, dude.-Dr.FB

These are photos of Patrick Swayze last week.  Sigh.

The pancreatic Cancer is hitting him really hard.  He has even filled out the proper “Do Not Resuscitate” order just in case he stops breathing or his heart.  He is still going thru with plans to promote the movie “Jump” which he is in, next week.

This is sad and now upsets me when he first found out he had cancer yet continued to smoke.  It looked like he was fighting it pretty well back then.  Now, not so much.  Hope he bounces back, but it is looking pretty grim.-Dr.FB
