Bruno Mars is only one of 10 men that have appeared on the cover of Playboy. The pop singer is on the cover of the magazine for its music issue.
Bruno is the focus of the Playboy interview and talked about who inspired him growing up:
"Growing up in the showbiz world, I looked up to those guys: Frank Sinatra and of course Elvis Presley. My dad was into the 1950s doo-wop era. If you look at those groups, or at James Brown, Jackie Wilson and the Temptations in the 1960s, you’ll see you had to be sharp onstage.”
Mars also talked about who he could play with if he could:
"Jimi Hendrix. I think he’s the greatest guitar player in the world, and I would want to see him do his thing in person. He’s the reason I picked up a guitar in the first place."
The magazine should be on newsstands this week. Wait....are there still newsstands?-DocFB
John Mayer had one of the worst weeks ever over his Playboy interview but perhaps things may be looking up for John.
The Isaac Foundation which raises money for children with a rare enzyme deficiency known as MPS VI, says that John is a "kind , caring and compassionate person who they have come to respect."
Andrew McFayden, the Foundation President added:
“I don’t care what Playboy magazine writes about the man, and I don’t care what John says to the journalists that write what they do about him. In America, it’s all part of the game.”
“Write what you want about John, think what you will, but before you hand down your verdict on what kind of person he really is, please consider the good he has done in his life.”
So what do you think of the Isaac Foundations remarks about John Mayer?-Dr.FB
