Sigh. I love Mariah. I really do. I have yet to buy or get her latest CD and there was a day where I would go down to Tower Records at Midnight to buy her latest CD and I even met her. When she said hi to me, I even got flustered.
My grip I guess comes from her choice of clothes or lack thereof. She has been doing this for a while and I guess I expect it to change and it is her life. Mariah Carey looks so glamorous in dresses that when I see her in tight tops and daisy duke shorts, I kind of cringe.
Let me ask you this; is this look sexy on Mariah or not?-Dr.FB

My heart goes out to Mariah. She’s damaged her voice badly, escaped a controlling marriage, suffered an all-to-public emotional breakdown, her latest album is in the toilet and she’s been labelled a “cougar.” If she has self-esteem/body image issues, it wouldn’t be surprising. That said, however, the dukes are a bit much.
It’s hot in Rio, it’s tropical, so why shouldn’t she wear Daisy Dukes?
And personally I rather see Mariah, full figured and healthy, than a gang of anorexic, pale and skeletal looking fashion victims.
I think Mariah looks good in what she is wearing.However the clothes are not doing her justice.She should put on somethin a bit more fierce!Say a black leather mini and an interesting top.
Don’t get me wrong, she looks great for 40. But she’d be sexier in my eyes if she didn’t try to dress like a teenager.
I think when you reach a certain age it is time to stop shopping at Forever 21. She has a great figure and it is time to show it off in a more mature way.
