Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” Sells Over 1 Million In First Week
Even though I think it is the worst album cover of all time, "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga did as I predicted and sold over a million copies in its first week.
Amazon.com decided to sell the new Lady Extravaganza CD for $.099 cents a couple of days last week and that helped spark it. Billboard.com is expecting it to sell 1 million and 150,000 in sales after all is said and done.
It has been 2 years since a CD has sold that much. A month ago, the top 10 combined of Billboard sold less than 50,000 copies. There is a chance Gaga sold more records than the top 200 cd's combined.
We knew Gaga was going to sell over a million and most likely be the last artist to do it ever.
Official numbers will be in on Wednesday but it safe to say "Born This Way" is a monumental success for her little monsters and more.-Dr.FB

Love the album… Had to buy it. The cover of the special edition is way better then that trash cover. Plus Black Jesus + Amen Fashion is a nice addition.
