Donna Summer Passes Away From Cancer At Age Of 63

Donna Summer has passed away at the age of 63 this morning from lung cancer.
The music superstar kept her illness a secret. She passed away this morning at her home in Florida. TMZ broke the story of her death.
She was the voice of disco. She was the voice of dance influencing many in the early 80's. For one moment in time, she was the voice for women. Her song "Last Dance" is still almost the last song you hear while leaving the club.

I can not believe Donna Summer’s has passed away she is going to be so missed such a wonderful talent

This saddens me. Summers’ music spoke to a generation, positively. May she rest in everlasting peace. And prayers that her family find solace in the love shared.

Donna is a huge part of my music timeline and was a member of my audience when I was growing up…long story

I will so much Donna Summer! I didn’t even realize that she was battling cancer. My prayers and love goes to Bruce and the girls and her other family members!!! A very sad day indeed…….
