11 Mar State Of Shock: Eli “Paperboy” Reed Releases “Shock To The System” Single

Singer-songwriter-guitarist-performer Eli “Paperboy” Reed has released a new single, “Shock To The System,” today via digital retailers. The track is taken from his upcoming debut album for Warner Bros. Records, NIGHTS LIKE THIS, due April 29^th. Download the single on iTunes here.

Nights Like This, which Reed produced with his guitarist and longtime collaborator, Ryan Speaker, represents a sonic evolution beyond the singer’s soulful roots, taking his affinity for classic R&B and blending it with the ebullience of modern pop music. The album features the teaser single “WooHoo” (watch the official lyric video here) as well as “Shock to the System,” which was co-written with Michael Fitzpatrick of Fitz and the Tantrums.
