Along with Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson performed on X Factor as well.

Janet performed “All For You” & “Make Me” and it was much better than her American Music Awards performance and each performance will be better than the last as she gets into “game shape” as I said before.

Adam Lambert was on Ellen telling his side of the story of the American Music Awards performance and said MAYBE it wasn’t the best thing to do as a 2nd impression for people who saw him on American Idol.

Now, was he being sincere or is this damage control? What do you think?-Dr.FB

American Idol winner Kris Allen appeared on the Bonnie Hunt show and seemed somewhat annoyed by the whole Adam Lambert American Music Award question and played along and said maybe he will kiss a guy at the next American Music Awards. 

Hopefully, that means he will have people around him that get him on the AMA’s to perform. 

He also perfomed “Live Like We’re Dying” on the show.

The American Music Awards was the best AMA’s in about 10 years. A majority of the stars were on hand except for Beyonce and Taylor Swift.  A couple years ago, almost every award winner was not there. Another year, the biggest act performing was the return of Motley Crue.

Lady Gaga did not disappoint but left the show empty-handed.  Will the Grammys get it right?  Kelly Clarkson belted out a tune. Carrie Underwood proclaimed her love for her “Cowboy Casanova” with a bevy of back-up dancers.  Janet Jackson went through a medley of her hits surrounded by her new song “Make Me” and an outfit that did not complement her, but did not provide a Super Bowl moment.

A few random notes:

-Was Taylor Swift really in London via satellite or was it to make sure she would not be interrupted by Kanye? (I kid. I kid.)

-Why is no one talking about Green Day’s solid performance?

-How hot was Sofia Vergara?

-Adam Lambert.  Wow or Ouch?

-Did you notice there was no host?

-Good job by American Music Award producers for editing Jennifer Lopez’s performance of a forgettable song by taking out her fall during her performance.  By doing that, you brought attention to it, and provided a moment for us bloggers.

I had a problem with Michael Jackson being nominated for so many awards and winning.  It was based on his older CD’s selling after his death.  It just wasn’t fair for other artists to compete with that.  Thankfully, it is no longer whoever sells more wins, because the only artist to sell more than MJ this year was Taylor Swift. 

At the same time, by not doing a tribute, it cut down on Jermaine’s speech.

The Black Eyed Peas did a medley of their latest new songs. It seems a lot of people loved this performance. It seems a lot of people hated this performance. Very much in the middle.

2 things I think we can agree on: Will. I. Am.’s wig is trippy. Fergie looked amazing.-Dr.FB

Adam Lambert performed “For Your Entertainment” at the American Music Awards and she showed guts. The whole grinding with the girl and then making out with the male keyboardist (with the producers pulling away from showing the whole kiss) and maybe some of the vocal screams were a little “broadway” or too much but still, he gave us something to talk about.

Kris Allen, who won American Idol only presented an award, but Adam Lambert, who was runner-up, closes the show. Interesting. There is a reason why you don’t see Kris Allen on this site as much as I want him and it has to do with his promotional people and exclusive rights and stuff like that. Straight up, someones promotion team needs to be fired.-Dr.FB

Lady Gaga’s performance on the American Music Awards of “Bad Romance” and “Speechless” was fire. It was smashing.

Although that whole outfit is not going to dispel rumors that she has a penis.-Dr.FB

If you get the West Coast feed of the American Music Awards, you missed Jennifer Lopez fall on her luscious butt during her performance.

You know, if it wasn’t edited out, I may not have posted a video just about her falling on the wonderful bootie, but when you pull something like that, you bringing attention to it.

Like J.Lo really needed her butt getting her more attention. Thanks ABC and it’s censors for bringing more attention to it.-Dr.FB

Tony Romo, what were you thinking? I don’t think I would ever dump a dame like Carrie Underwood.

Carrie Underwood looked hot, sounded hot, and I am thinking they should just re-name this show the American Idol Music Awards.-Dr.FB

Kelly Clarkson killed it at the American Music Awards by actually singing and belting out her song “Already Gone” and I loved it. The original American Idol brought it.

Kelly is looking healthy and I am digging that she really got into her performance and brought you into it.
