Dave Grohl is showing that it is really great to be on a tour with him. Their opening act's drummer had surgery but instead of replacing the band, Dave Grohl has stepped in as the band's drummer.

Cage The Elephant's drummer Jared Champion had his appendix burst on Monday and is still recovering. Enter Dave Grohl, the Foo Fighters frontman, and in case you didn't know, the drummer for a little band named Nirvana.

The Foo Fighters are playing the Forum tonight so you might want to get there early to check out Cage The Elephant with Dave on drums.

If someone from the Foo's is reading this, would love to interview Dave about something that should have happened at the Forum earlier this year and to catch Friday's show to cover for the site.  Just putting it out there.

Check out Dave as the drummer for Cage The Elephant below.-DocFB
