Chris Tucker was on Ellen where he discussed his new movie "Silver Linings Playbook" and also took time to talk about his friend Michael Jackson. He shared experiences about going with him to the movies and MJ having to put on disguises to go.
He even shared a time where they were already out and he wanted to go to the mall and he just put on a Spider-Man mask and attempted to be unrecognized. This is a person who truly knew him. He needed more people like Tucker around him for sure.
Here is some behind the scenes footage of Michael and Chris filming the video to "You Rock My World".....-DocFB
Diagnosis: Surround yourself with the young, legal, & real friends whose success does not cling to yours....
This is still the cut. From Chris dropping MJ titles from "The Girl Is Mine" to "Beat It" to "Dangerous" was comic gold. Perhaps it will show Justin Bieber how to use actors in future videos.
I was driving in Hollywood the other night trying to escape the heat and I had to turn this up when it came on, full with head bobs and "Shamons" in effect. Kind of like Michael getting down to "Ignition" by R.Kelly.
On that note, you also know we never pass a chance to show MJ getting on down to "Ignition" by R.Kelly while chilling with Brett Rattner.-DocFB
Rush Hour producer Arthur Sarkissian spoke at the Television Critics Association press tour over the weekend and claimed the movie is being worked on and has a plot in mind already.
Jackie Chan spoke at the Cannes film festival earlier this year and was all for it.....in about 5 to 10 years, when he was ready to retire.
Can we get that "Friday" sequel first with Chris Tucker before this please?-DocFB
The flashback jam of the moment is "You Rock My World" by Michael Jackson. The video is a fun piece starring Chris Tucker and the late Marlon Brando.
Everytime I hear this song, I have to bob my head as it does have that classic MJ feel.
Also love it when Chris sings along to the "girl" line. So enjoy the flashback jam of the moment by Michael Jackson.-DocFB
Diagnosis: I know he still rocks your world.....
Here is Chris Tucker performing "Rock With You" in Bermuda. As a singer, he makes a great comedian. Thought I would share.
What do you think?-Dr.FB
Michael Jackson is finally buried. After dying June 25th. Buried 70 days later. That's some bull right there, but now he is buried.
Let's see...a private viewing July 6th, then a memorial service of family and friends July 7th, then going to the public memorial July 7th at the Staple center and then the actual burial last night.
The burial last night was star studded with Elizabeth Taylor, Lisa Marie Presley, Chris Tucker, Macaulay Culkin and his girlfriend Mila Kulas. Performers included we are told Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, and Aretha Franklin.
Let me say this...I am glad he is buried. Finally. I don't understand the whole 5 limos and the big Italian restaurant in Pasadena after the burial service. I am upset that it took so much time to get him buried. From infighting and other things. I understand time was needed for the autopsy but after that, it should have been taken care of, but it wasn't. Was the family trying to milk Michael maybe thinking the press would not care about them anymore?
Give Jermaine time to try to put together tribute concerts that cost an arm and a leg? Give Latoya enough time to make a video? Give Joe more time to pimp his record label? Janet has been silent during all this but I would not be surprised in time she admits being upset by the way things were handled.
I am happy he is finally buried but upset at the not so classy way it was handled. The Jackson family really is something else.
From the looks of it, Chris Brown is stress free and loving it. Bow Wow posted a few twitter pics of him ,CB, Chris Tucker and Shaq. Mr. Brown released a video stating he's not a monster and that he will be 'dropping' a new single this summer.
Um, Okay Mr. Brown....
We'd been hoping the rumors were true about a potential 77 afterjam Sunday nite. We got the word last minute: it's on!
As guests like Tyler Perry, Herbie Hancock and Jennifer Gordon (you'll know who she is real soon, trust us) mingled in the kitchen, we heard a few strums of an acoustic guitar around the corner in the ballroom. How cool is this -- a surprise acoustic set with Prince on guitar, Shelby J and Liv Warfield on vocals and tambourine and Frederic Yonnet on harmonica. They opened with "North Carolina," Shelby J.'s theme song. Inside track on this song is that Prince and Shelby are really taking their time about creating classic material before recording Shelby's debut CD. They've dabbled in the studio but after fleshing the tunes out in a live setting, the songs take on a life of their own. Expect big things from this project. The quartet stopped briefly to congratulate a newcomer to the party, Whitney Houston, on her triumphant return to the stage the previous night during the pre-Grammy Bash at the Beverly Hilton.
The room filled up with faces familiar and not, groovin' to "Crimson & Clover", "I'm Going Down" "Long Train Running" and "Kiss" Dance joint of the night tho was "Hollywood Swinging." They just couldn't stop that sucka, no matter how hard they tried. Everyone -- the servers, DJ Rashida , the security, even the housekeepers -- YES everybody was dancing! Nobody outdanced The Twinz' mother tho, who, dressed in white, was auditioning for her daughters' vacated spot.
It seemed like one big family, everyone chill, having fun regardless of background, age, gender, race, social status. None of that mattered. It felt a lot like any Prince concert -- music is the bond that unites us all. Being in a room of totally satisfied people cannot b overstated. It's utter bliss. Try it sometime. Invite your favorite people over and put on some of your favorite music and just dance. Don't even think about it, just dance. Like Holly Robinson, Sanaa Lathan, Chris Tucker, Bria Valente, and her handsome and gracious father, Tyler and Whitney did...just dance.
