Kanye West appeared on Ellen to debut his new video "Bound 2" which stars his baby mama Kim Kardashian. A rap video debut on Ellen? is Sophia Grace and Rosie behind this?
Ever being the Jewish mother as Lenny Kravitz puts it, Ellen keeps trying to hook Lenny up with someone. First Natalie Portman. This time? Ellen's guest DJ Carmen Electra.
Well, it beats random audience members! Lenny played along, but did Carmen as well or she was really into it? Hmm.
We would LOVE to talk about Lenny being in "Hunger Games" but Ellen hasn't uploaded it and we wanted to give Lenny some Love.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Is Ellen's work done? We don't think so! Why? Bro code. Bro code.
Adam Lambert was a guest DJ on Ellen a couple of days ago. Adam said he had been working on a DJ skills and showed his costumes for Halloween.
Adam also sang some interesting headline Craiglist ads which were crazy funny!
Adam also talked about being single much to Ellen's surprise.
A shout out to the person who uploaded this to YouTube! We looked for this on Ellen's web site and her YouTube page and were disappointed to not find it. Mad Love for posting!-DocFB
Diagnosis: Adam Lambert will be guest DJ again for Ellen on November 11th!
What the heck were you doing when you were 16? When I was 16, I weighed 96 pounds wet, was 5'2 and doing chin ups to make myself taller. Royal? No way!
Lorde made her daytime TV debut a week after making her American TV debut on Fallon the week before.
We dig Lorde's voice. People seem to be focusing on her movements while dancing. Pfffft! If Celine Dion can hit her tiny self in the chest and do the arm clap, Lorde can keep the "awkward" dancing while singing.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Embrace your awkwardness.....at 16 or any age.
The Cover Girl model and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres has been tapped to host the Academy Awards in 2014!
It is a very popular choice we must say. It is also a very safe choice after Seth Macfarlane this year.
— Ellen DeGeneres (@TheEllenShow) August 2, 2013
This is Ellen's second time hosting the show as she hosted back in 2007.
“I am so excited to be hosting the Oscars for the second time. You know what they say — the third time’s the charm.”-DocFB
Diagnosis: A very solid, popular, safe choice. It will make the long show a little bit more enjoyable.
Usher appeared on The Ellen Show yesterday to talk about "The Voice" and his protege, Justin Bieber was brought up by Ellen and the headlines Justin has been making, and not all exactly for the right reasons.
"He's young" can only be used for so long. Talented? Very much so. Yes, the camera's are everywhere but when you have YOUR own entourage taking photos of you with blunts, where YOU post photos of you drinking alcohol at the age of 19, along with the countless media coverage and being hounded, it really doesn't help you.
When Usher asks Ellen how would she like to have been filmed all the time when she was a teenager, she would have LOVED it. A lot of people feel that way. Privacy should be respected but when YOU are putting it out there, it doesn't help.
I can understand the break-up in the public eye and how hard it is. The driving fast all the time in Los Angeles where it puts others in danger on the freeway and in your own community, needs to stop.
When the focus is only put on the music, then we can talk. Yet, his last album did not sell well. So, maybe you put these things out and you let people know where he will be to keep him talked about and not talk about how poor the album sales are, right? Seems to be working.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Young can only be an excuse for so long....
Bon Jovi performed one classic and a new song on Ellen and Jon Bon Jovi sat down to talk to Ellen. The conversation quickly turned to Richie Sambora who has left the band for personal reasons.
They talked about it being 30 years since their 1st album and Richie came up. Jon kept it classy not stating why Richie has left but says he is still in the band.
They performed the classic "Who Says You Can't Go Home" above and the new song "What About Now" below.
Jon also hooked up the audience for the band's next tour date in L.A.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Missing Richie....
Bruno Mars appeared on Ellen to perform "When I Was Your Man" which will be the first and only time he performs the song on TV.
It is a great performance of the song and kind of cool he will not be performing it everywhere. It seems when artists do the talk show run, they only perform their latest song and nothing else.
All you need to do is put Bruno in front of a piano and nothing else.
The song is number one for a reason.-DocFB
Diagnosis: One of the MUST see tours of the year!
John Mayer performed for the first time in 3 years on The Ellen Show and also talked about recovering from throat surgery and his relationship with Katy Perry.
When it came to Katy, he kept mum saying the relationship was private from the start, through, and after. He stated he learned from the past talking about previous relationships to not do that anymore.
John performed "Something Like Olivia" from his album "Born & Raised" that he put out last year even though he could not sing to promote it.
He even gave the entire audience tickets to see him perform later this year in California!
You can access all tour dates HERE!
Welcome back John!-DocFB
Diagnosis: Looks like his "Shadow Days" really are over....
