Too Funny! Jon Stewart Returns To The Daily Show; Channels Freddie Mercury & Goes After Miley Cyrus & Her Foam Finger!
Jon Stewart returned to the Daily Show last night for the first time in 3 months after making a film in the Middle East. It did not take him long to go after Miley Cyrus and her foam finger.
In the clip Comedy Central is providing, you see it briefly but not explaining why Jon is doing the things he is doing. The clip below, which we hope stays up, gives you the full intro.
It seems Jon forgot how to act "American"...they made jokes about his facial hair while trying to fix him. He then morphed intro Freddie Mercury from Queen and then.....Miley Cyrus...including the MTV outfit along with the foam finger.
Check out the intro above. Trust us, it is worth your time!-DocFB
Diagnosis: Welcome back Jon!
When it was announced that Sacha Baron Cohen was going to play Queen front-man Freddie Mercury, I was intrigued. Sacha has dropped out of the movie and it kinda sucks!
Deadline.com broke the story saying that Cohen was dropping out due to creative differences.
The band wanted a PG version of the movie and Cohen wanted it to be a hard-hitting piece, especially covering his death from AIDS.
Who will replace Cohen in this film? An unknown?
As for things being a little more true to life when it comes to music film biographies, "Ray" about Ray Charles was not PG. It was PG-13. There was no nudity and I have a feeling that Cohen wanted to go all out and put it out there how Mercury really was. He wanted it to be true and not downplayed.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Really not sure who will play Mercury now. If anyone suggests Adam Lambert, I will not talk to you. Lambert is great playing with Queen but he is not Freddy and should not play him.
Ahh. This is what it sounded like when radio was relevant right? "Radio Gaga" by Queen.
"Radio Gaga" was written by their drummer Roger Taylor and reached number 16 on the Billboard Charts in 1984. Wow. Billboard was getting stuff wrong even back then. Only number 16. Freddie Mercury sounds so soulful on this pop ditty.
Well, regardless where it placed, it is one of our top picks for #FlashbackFriday so enjoy it my friends!-DocFB
Diagnosis: All we hear is Radio Gaga ala "Suit & Tie"...
Our Old School Jam Of The Moment is "Radio Gaga" by Queen.
Freddie Mercury will never be forgotten and Brian May still rules on guitar.
Without this song, we shudder to think what Lady Gaga would have named herself. Lady Flock Of Seagulls? Lady Wham Wham? Lady A-Ha?
Ok, enough of that. For now, enjoy "Radio Gaga" by Queen.
Diagnosis: Would Love To Hear George Michael Cover This....
