Reese Witherspoon & Jake Gyllenhaal’s people denied the break-up for weeks, even when Reese was not at Jake’s movie premiere for the movie “Brothers” 2 weeks ago.  Now, they are coming clean.

The reps for both have confirmed the break-up and that it did happen a few weeks ago.  No one is to blame we are told.  They were just on different coasts and different points in their lives.

Regardless, we wish Reese and Jake each success in love and career, just separately.-Dr.FB

Natalie Portman attended the 19th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards in New York City last night. 

Natalie has a new movie out this Friday called “Brothers” and is doing the promotion circuit for it. The movie also stars Tobey McGuire and Jake Gyllenhaal, who is still denying break-up rumors with Reese Witherspoon.

Tom Arnold got married for the 4th time over the weekend.  He married Ashley Groussman in Maui……

Rumors are swirling again that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are about to split.  Look for the couple to have photos “leaked” of them being lovey-dovey and kissing in the next week or so……

Yes! Yes! Yes!  Johnny Depp has been named People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive for the 2nd time. 

The real man’s man who is also a man of the ladies as well.  Johnny joins other two time winners George Clooney & Brad Pitt. 

Other men on the list are Robert Pattinson, Bradley Cooper, David Beckham, Ryan Reynolds, Adam Lambert, Jake Gyllenhaal, Robert Downey Jr., Dr.Funkenberry & Nick Cannon.

I think People made the right choice.  There is one last thing I want for Johnny Depp and that is an Oscar win in his future.  Congrats to Mr. Depp and being the man, the sexiest man, once again.

Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe divorced in 2006 and the actress is just now starting to talk about it in the new issue of Elle.

She calls the experience humiliating and isolating.

She adds:

“By the way, if it’s not painful, maybe it wasn’t the right decision to marry to begin with. Those are the appropriate emotions. When people get in your face and say, ‘This will pass,’ you think, Are they crazy? I’m never gonna feel any better than I feel right this minute and nothing’s ever gonna make sense again,” she said.

“A lot of people play this blame game. Blame, blame, blame. You know? And it’s a really easy thing to do, and I’m certainly guilty of it. Which part of this is my responsibility? And that’s the painful work that you have to go through to hopefully get some real life knowledge out of it,” Witherspoon said.

As for new love Jake Gyllenhaal:

He’s fabulous. He really is a fantastic guy.
