Kimbra performed on Jimmy Kimmell last night singing "Cameo Lover" as the artist makes a name for herself sans Gotye. Her CD arrived in "stores" earlier this week. The CD is entitled "Vows" and features 6 new songs that were not on her Australian and New Zealand versions of her CD there. For the US edition of Vows, Kimbra recorded additional tracks in Los Angeles, CA with such producers and songwriters as Mike Elizondo and Greg Kurstin. Also included on the release is "Warrior" featuring Mark Foster (Foster the People) and A-Trak, originally recorded for the Converse "Three Artists, One Song" series. This year is shaping up to be an extremely busy one for Kimbra. Her haunting vocals and impassioned delivery on the Gotye track "Somebody That I Used to Know" have helped propel it to an international hit#1 hit. Kimbra recently joined Gotye on his nationwide tour, and performed the track with him on Saturday Night Live April 14th. Later this month, she will head out with Foster the People on their US tour, which kicks off May 29th with two nights at Rumsey Playfield in New York's Central Park. She will will be doing a special show at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery tonight. For tour dates with Foster The People, click the continue reading button.-DocFB
