Only snuggies sold worse than the new Madonna record this holiday season.
The pop icon first felt that female artists are being held back as the excuse of her album selling poorly on pre-order for i-Tunes, then a squabble with Lady Gaga. Madonna now is saying she is just as much of a rebel as Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King Jr., using images of them in black rope on their face like hers for the #RebelHeart album cover.
Even Bob Marley was not safe from the black rope as well. Madonna released 6 songs from "Rebel Heart" after 13 demos of the album were leaked much to Madonna's frustration...or perhaps acting frustrated. You know what we mean.
Under the photo of MLK Jr., she said "This #RebelHeart had a dream!"
Keep in mind, this is over poor sales. Not an artist comparing himself to a slave to get out of a record contract 20 years prior which caused it's own uproar although it changed the industry forever. This is over poor sales and is quite frankly, in poor taste.
From the fighting with Lady Gaga to lashing out at fans for the material being leaked. The duets with Macklemore & Miley Cyrus seem to make more sense of trying to keep up with trends. Trends that Madonna used to make and break. Perhaps it is time to scrap "Rebel Heart" completely and come out with new material and take a social media break. At lease she is not dropping the "N" word like she is 2Pac tho.-DocFB
Diagnosis: The poor sales of "Rebel Heart" have more to do with the material being sub par than people trying to hold Madonna back. It is a completely different game for an artist over 55 and you need to adapt to the changes or keep charging your fans over $500.00 to see your shows.
Wanted to share the dreamy new video for Caught a Ghost's downtempo cover of Madonna's "Like a Virgin" from this week's Grey's Anatomy.

Diagnosis: U diggin' that sax line?
Our photo of the moment is of Madonna dressing up for the Jewish Holiday Purim.
"Happy Purim!!!!! All Hail All Queens! ##certainty." was the Instagram quote.-DocFB
Diagnosis: She posted another photo of her with an image of Jesus. We liked it better the first time...when she did that in the "Like A Prayer" video....
Madonna will be performing with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis at the Grammys this Sunday! She will perform "Same Love" with them.
Madonna confirmed the rumors that she would be performing at the Grammys this Sunday.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Macklemore & Lewis are up for 7 Grammys this Sunday....
Madonna and Lady Gaga have grossed the most money in 2013 of musicians. Madonna pulled in $45 million more than Gaga to be crowned top money making musician of 2013.
Madonna made $125 million in 2013 based mostly on her MDNA tour which grossed $305 million last year, tour merchandise, her Material Girl clothing line and her Truth Or Dare perfume.
Lady Gaga pulled in $80 million, $160 million pulled in by her last tour. If she was able to finish her tour before suffering a hip injury, she would have grossed $200 million but still falling short of number one held by Madonna.
1. Madonna $125 Million
2. Lady Gaga $80 Million
3. Bon Jovi $79 Million
4. Toby Keith $65 Million
5. Coldplay $64 Million
All of the top 5 money makers have been touring which is where a tremendous majority of their money has come from.

Diagnosis: Notice how none were from record sales....
In a revealing new interview with Harper's Bazaar UK, Madonna opens up about her first year in New York and about being raped on a rooftop at knife point.
Talking about her first year in New York, the pop singer says:
"New York wasn't everything I thought it would be. It did not welcome me with open arms. The first year, I was held up at gunpoint. Raped on the roof of a building I was dragged up to with a knife in my back, and had my apartment broken into three times. I don't know why; I had nothing of value after they took my radio the first time. The tall buildings and the massive scale of New York took my breath away. The sizzling-hot sidewalks and the noise of the traffic and the electricity of the people rushing by me on the streets was a shock to my neurotransmitters. I felt like I had plugged into another universe. I felt like a warrior plunging my way through the crowds to survive. Blood pumping through my veins, I was poised for survival. I felt alive.
Sean Penn came out to support Madonna last night in New York City for her Secret Project Revolution film.
The gossip sites this morning are reporting that Sean was all about Madonna last night and she felt the same. Ho hum.
Madonna has always said that Sean was the "Love Of Her Life" even after "Shanghai Surprise" so we don't doubt she still has feelings for him.
It is nice that a couple who was once married can be civil with one another years later and support each other.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Wonder how many sites quoted old Madonna lyrics in their story. Screw that. We will just give you "Borderline" to jam to instead!
