Orianthi will perform on this week’s American Idol this Wednesday March 17th.

We broke the news exclusively on Friday to our Twitter Followers and our Facebook Fan Page  as Fox did not want to make the official announcement  on the site til Monday, so we snuck to our followers because they didn’t say we couldn’t. 

Orianthi will be performing “According To You” on the show, which is slowly creeping up the charts that used to matter, The Billboard Charts and is sitting at Number 17 right now.  She has been on Funkenberry Radio’s Top 21 for quite a while now. 

When we interviewed Orianthi a few weeks back, she let us know that she recorded an updated version of “Stairway To Heaven” by led Zeppelin with Mary J. Blige and guitar God Steve Vai. 

ALSO, Orianthi will be performing  on this Thursday’s “Tonight Show With Jay Leno” and that performance should be hot as well. Janet Jackson will be a guest on the show.  As you all should know, Orianthi was due to play with Janet’s brother, Michael Jackson (You might have heard of him) before his untimely death.  She is all over the documentary “This Is It” which is now out on DVD.

Why doesn’t he do what he did when he did what he did when he lied to me?

Never trust someone who names their kid Jermajesty. I don’t care if I spelled it wrong. It’s still lame as phuck.

As we thought, Jermaine Jackson was talking out his greasy ass cheeks when announcing the tribute concert for his brother. This smelled worse that Courtney Love at a courthouse.

Jermaine said earlier this week he was gonna have Chris Brown and Mary J. Blige perform at the concert and I was like..what? Wow. No way. Looks like I was right. Natalie Cole has denied it as well.

Mary was told about the gig by a reporter n she said she has another gig that day. Chris Brown said he was gonna be busy beating up his latest girl that day as well.

The tribute concert has been cancelled although Jermaine is saying it will now be in London 2010. If Michael was the gloved one, Jermaine is the greasy one.

Classless mofo. So can anyone just have a press conference and say people are going to be there? Hmm.  Ok then!

Coming in 200never, The Dr.Funkenberry tribute concert with performances by Katy Perry, Jay-Z, a special duet between Britney Spears and Prince, along with appearances by Kim Kardashian in a thong and the comedy act of John Mayer & Chelsea Handler. Plus Drake and Trey Songz will sing the hooks for all our guest performers.

Shoot, if you are going to lie Jermaine, might as well say Michael will be returning to the stage to put a foot up those greasy cheeks brother.

Jermaine Jackson held a press conference to announce a line-up for the Tribute Concert to be held later this month.

I am kind of surprised, if he is telling the truth, that he got Mary J. Blige & Chris Brown to headline the event. I figured more stars would stay away from this.  other artists are Natalie Cole and Sister Sledge.

Paula Abdul’s manager spoke yesterday to let people know she is not in talks with American Idol or Fox to return to the show.

Fox is getting panels together to see what people think of the guest judges  of Victoria Beckham, Shania Twain, Mary J. Blige, Katy Perry and Joe Jonas and how Paula not being a judge will affect ratings and opinion.

A recent poll favored Paula by 80 percent saying the show would suffer.-Dr.FB

Kelly Clarkson, the first American Idol winner, will be a guest judge on the show. She told the USA Today that she is very excited to be on the show.

This news follows a slew of guest host announcements such as Katy Perry, Mary J. Blige, Shania Twain, and Joe Jonas.

The Kelly Clarkson one is cool to me since she was someone who had to go through the whole process in order to win American Idol.

I hear that American Idol just got Joe Jonas to be a guest judge on American Idol.  What the what?

They already had Victoria Beckham as a guest judge and as I told you yesterday, Shania Twain is set to be a judge as well, along with Katy Perry and Mary J. Blige. We hear that they are reaching out to Kelly Clarkson, the very first Idol winner and it looks like she is going to accept.

But the big news is Joe Jonas. They  expressed interest on getting the Jonas Brother on the show and it did not take long for him to jump on board.

American Idol has always had guest judges on but seem to be laying on getting more to make up for the absence of Paula Abdul, who is still not signed to a contract.
