Will.I.Am & Britney Spears Release “Scream & Shout” (Remix) Amid Controversy
Will.I.Am & Britney Spears have released "Scream & Shout" Remix featuring Hit Boy, Waka Flocka Flame, Lil Wayne & Diddy. Some are claiming that it is not actually Britney at all on the track.
It is not like Britney is singing exactly. I think it is a testament to Will's production that people don't think it is Britney on the song.
Rappers still rapping "Yolo" and the production value of the video is not really up to Will's usual level. Aside from Diddy saying "bitch" like he just created it, he makes sure you see his Ciroc in the video. Lil Wayne says he has a bad memory so we have a feeling he already forgot appearing in this video.
Will.I.Am has got his street cred back by appearing with these rappers. Now, let's just keep Will to doing his own stuff and focusing on the beats and the party atmosphere that upsets people over 35 and keeps the people under 25 happy.-DocFB

NPG member Shelby J. was asked to be on the remix by Miss Hathaway herself. Lalah opened for Prince & The NPG on some "Welcome 2 America" dates last year.
We talked to Shelby J. about the song and she said "The song has a healing power. I can listen to it over and over and it just makes me FEEL GOOD and it reminds me what is IMPORTANT in life and how we are ALL connected on the Earth, therefor we must CARE for each other & Love one another. No matter what color, race, religion or location!!"

It is no coincidence that you see some of the stars of the video and others wearing hoodies. This is a big shout out to Treyvon Martin.

Is “Somebody That I Used To Know” Goyte Cover By Pentatonix Better Than Original
Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know" featuring Kimbra has inspired several cover versions and remixes. The Pentatonix version could be called a cover and remix and to some people, it is better than the original.
The way that people were covering "Make You Feel My Love" by Adele may not know that the song is actually Bob Dylan's and not Adele's. The song was covered successfully by Garth Brooks and others before everyone and their mom covered it since Adele did.
Gotye's song is everywhere. We will be surprised if it is not the most played song at the end of the year.
We are digging Pentatonix's version of it, but the question is, is it better than the original?-DocFB

Here is a mash-up of DJ Rob Base & Prince entitled "It Takes Two 2 Kiss" and it is funky. This is our old school jam of the moment.
This mix is made by DJ John and I have been digging it for a while.
We have been wanting to put stuff like this on our Facebook Fan Page, but Facebook's music player has not been working for over a week.
Since we can't and we wanted to share, and we do not know when the player will be fixed, we decided to share it here.
I miss the days of 12 inch versions n mixes big time.
