As Sinead O'Conner writes another open letter to Miley Cyrus (Seriously) a mash-up of "Nothing Compares 2 U" & "Wrecking Ball" has surfaced entitled "Nothing Compares 2 Wrecking Ball"....
The title may not be all that but the mix is somewhat creative. It is hard to remix ballads and make them integrate well especially when mixing video images.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Planned or not, Sinead's open letters to Miley and Miley's responses on Twitter were great free publicity for Cyrus the past week. Nothing Compares 2 Free Publicity....
Bro-ther! Sinead O'Conner wrote another letter after Miley Cyrus laughed off her last one when Sinead showed her concern. So why write another one????
In the new letter, Sinead states:
"Miley… Really? Who the f--k is advising you?"
"Because taking me on is even more f--kin' stupid than behaving like a prostitute and calling it feminism. You have posted today tweets of mine which are two years old, which were posted by me when I was unwell and seeking help so as to make them look like they are recent. In doing so you mock myself and Amanda Bynes for having suffered with mental health issues and for having sought help."
"I mean really really… who advises you?" "[H]ave you any idea how stupid and dangerous it is to mock people for suffering illness? You will yourself one day suffer such illness, that is without doubt. The course you have set yourself upon can only end in that, trust me. I am staggered that any 20 yr old woman of the 21st century could behave in such a dangerous and irresponsible manner as to not only send the signal to young women that its ok to act like prostitutes but also to the signal that those who have suffered or do suffer mental health problems are to be mocked and have their opinions invalidated. Have you no sense of danger at all? or responsibility? Remove your tweets immediately or you will hear from my lawyers. I am certain you will be hearing from all manner of mental health advocacy groups also. It is not acceptable to mock any person for having suffered."
Should we really be surprised? Hours after Sinead O'Conner wrote an open letter to Miley Cyrus about the ways of the music business, Miley took to Twitter to slam the 47 year-old Irish singer.

In case you haven't heard Miley is host and musical guest of Saturday Night Live this weekend.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Will Miley rip a photo of O'Conner Saturday?
Miley Cyrus said her latest image on "Wrecking Ball" was a direct tribute to Sinead O'Conner and her version of "Nothing Compares 2 U" but Sinead says the reason she looked the way she did was to distract, not attract.
In an open letter to Miley Cyrus that is about a 1,000 words, she gives Cyrus advice and rips into her at the same time.
Here are some quotes from O'Conner's open letter.
"The music business doesn't give a s*** about you, or any of us. They will prostitute you for all you are worth, and cleverly make you think it's what you wanted… And when you end up in rehab as a result of being prostituted, 'they' will be sunning themselves on their yachts in Antigua, which they bought by selling your body and you will find yourself very alone."
"Don't be under any illusions… All of them want you because they're making money off your youth and your beauty… which they could not do except for the fact your youth makes you blind to the evils of show business."
"Nothing Compares 2 u" was written by Prince. It was given for a group he was working with he named "The Family" in the 80's. (More on them on the site soon.) Sinead O'Conner covered the song in early 1990 and released a powerful video to accompany her strong vocals.
Prince won songwriter of the year for 1990 in a Rolling Stone poll for the song. Steven Fargnoli, who managed Prince from the late 70's til 1989 suggested to his new client Sinead to cover the song. The song would catapult Sinead to super-stardom, something that she was not comfortable with.
Prince still performs the song, mostly as a duet. I did hear him sing it solo one time and it was epic. Perhaps the song is too personal for him to perform alone?
There are stories that Prince and Sinead has words about her covering the song that Sinead has verified over the years.
Regardless, here is my grandmother's all-time favorite song and the number 2 video according to an MTV poll, "Nothing Compares 2 U" covered by Sinead O'Conner.-Dr.FB
