Gary Clark Jr. will be featured on the "12 Years A Slave" Soundtrack set for release on November 19th. The digital version is available now and the soundtrack was curated by John Legend.

Clark covers the songs "When The Sun Goes Down" and "Freight Train" for the soundtrack.

Clark contributes a pair of songs, "When The Sun Goes Down," which has been covered by an array of artists since the mid-'30s, including Lonnie Johnson and Big Maceo, and "Freight Train," which was written by Elizabeth Cotten and covered by such artists as Joan Baez, Pete Seeger, and Rusty Draper. New Mariah Carey Video! “Almost Home” Watch Now!

Mariah Carey File Photo Mariah Carey File Photo

Mariah Carey has released the video for "Almost Home" her latest single from "Oz, The Great And Powerful" Soundtrack.

The video consists of black and white shots of Mariah with scenes from Oz interjected.

The shots of Mariah do not exactly fit with the video concept. I'm sure she is pressed for time with "American Idol" but it would have been cool to make a cartoon-like Mariah for the video to interject with the scenes...and we have a feeling Mariah would have been wanting that about 5 years ago.

The song is good. It is no "We Belong Together" or anything from "Butterflies" but it is much better than her last effort "Triumph" for sure.-DocFB

Diagnosis: Fireflies...not butterflies....
