Russell Brand Files For Divorce From Katy Perry
Some said it wouldn't last...and they were right. Russell Brand has filed for divorce from Katy Perry.
The couple were married over a year, over 300 more days than say Kim Kardashian. They met in 2009 and hooked up at the MTV Video Music Awards that year. On New Years Eve of 2009, Russell proposed to Katy. The divorce comes as a shock to most.
Katy and Russell were married on October 23rd, 2010 in India. Katy was on Ellen in November talking about how much in love her and Russell were. She stated that they can't go more than 2 weeks without seeing each other. The couple have not been seeing eye to eye recently and spent Christmas apart. We knew it was close to two weeks but still did not think anything of it when Russell was spotted without his wedding ring this week. Katy rarely wore hers.
Russell has released this statement regarding the divorce;
"Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends."
As many of you may know, I didn't like Katy and Russell being together from the start. It wasn't jealousy from him having one of the most beautiful women in the world. I just didn't like it. As they were getting married and she talked about how happy she was, I was happy for her and bit my tongue.
Katy has yet to release a statement regarding the divorce. It is rumored that Katy was going to file for divorce and Russell beat her to the punch.-DocFB

Sly Stone Wants To Jam With Lady Gaga After Rehab
We can confirm that Sly Stone has entered rehab over the weekend and when he gets out, he wants to record with Lady Gaga.
This was the statement released to drfunkenberry.com regarding his checking into rehab;
"Sly wants to get clean, and stay sober. Sly has fallen on very hard times in the past few years. Sly will be in rehab for at least the next 90 days, and he is committed to getting sober."
So, after Sly gets out, he wants to record with Lady Gaga. He stated in September that he has hundreds of tracks newly recorded that Gaga could use.
"I see all the guys playing those old songs. Let these guys know, like Lady Gaga, let me come in, just let me come in and pay me if you like it."
Stone recently admitted last month that he is homeless, by choice it seems, living on the streets of Crenshaw.
We really hope the 8th time is the charm for Sly. It is truly heartbreaking to see a legend like him not able to beat and battle his demons.-DocFB

Tony Bennet Clarifies 9/11 Comments He Made On Howard Stern
Tony Bennett has made a statement regarding his comments on 9/11 during the Howard Stern Show.
Tony stated:
I am so grateful to be an American and as a World War II veteran, I was proud to fight to protect our values, which have made America the greatest country on the planet.
There is simply no excuse for terrorism and the murder of the nearly 3,000 innocent victims of the 9/11 attacks on our country.
My life experiences - ranging from the Battle of the Bulge to marching with Martin Luther King - made me a life-long humanist and pacifist, and reinforced my belief that violence begets violence and that war is the lowest form of human behavior.
I am sorry if my statements suggested anything other than an expression of my love for my country, my hope for humanity and my desire for peace throughout the world.
We really feel that Tony was just speaking his mind and was talking off the cuff. It is obvious that Tony felt remorse for what he said feeling it offended people.
What do you think?-DocFB
