Justin Timberlake has released the video for "Take Back The Night" the first single from "The 20/20 Experience Volume 2" and it is a return to the dance pop MJ stuff that made him a solo pop sensation.
Justin Timberlake's new song "Take Back The Night" is in hot water with a Sexual Assault Awareness program of the same name.
Katherine Koestner, Executive Director had this to say:
"Everyone at Take Back the Night is really shocked, because normally, we get asked when people want to use the name. Normally entities as large as Justin Timberlake do very kind and thoughtful things to support our cause.”
'Use me,' for example, is not a great phrase for anyone affiliated with the organization."
"Usually people are pretty mindful because no one is actually ‘for’ sexual assault. This whole thing with Justin is just really unfortunate and we’re hoping it can be amicably resolved.”
They are also upset that the title is showing up first on sites such as Wikipedia instead of the organization.-DocFB
Diagnosis: In less than a month, the organization will be showing up first again. Although the song is more uptempo than anything on his previous record, it is not going to be a major enough hit that it will be remembered by the end of August....
Well, that didn't take long! Justin Timberlake gave us a snippet of his new song "Take Back The Night" earlier this week and now has put out the full version!
Before 2013, it has been years before Justin Timberlake released music. Now just 4 months after "The 20/20 Experience", he is teasing a new song "Take Back The Night" which will be on "The 20/20 Experience (2 of 2)"
