20 year -old British hottie Jamie Campbell-Bower joins the Twilight Sequel: ‘New Moon’.  New Moon will focus on Bella (Kristen Stewart), who will be forced into the world of werewolves while threatened by the Volturi.  Campbell-Bower will play “Cauis”, the leader of the italian based vampire crew.

Jamie is best known for his role as Anthony in Tim Burton’s “Sweeney Todd”.

All it took was one performance from Prince for him to be Emma Roberts pick, or pic so to speak.

Emma was a guest on the Tonight Show With Jay Leno during Prince’s Tonight show record 3 night run last week, before his epic 3 shows at L.A. Live Saturday night.

Emma Roberts saw Prince perform “Dreamer” from his new 3 cd set “Lotusflow3r” on sale at Target or by downloading at Lotusflow3r.com and the 18 year old actress was enamoured by his performance.

While everyone was paying attention to Prince handing his guitar to a fan in the audience, Emma had her eyes on a prize. Prince threw his guitar pic on to the ground before the handoff of the guitar.  While no one was looking and after Prince walked off stage, Emma ran and picked up the guitar pic!

She has been keeping it in her purse and is very proud of the pic with Prince’s symbol on it. Emma discussed her Prince moment on Jimmy Fallon’s show last night.  Today? She is most likely the envy of many Prince fans.-Dr.FB

Please let this not be true.  There are rumors swirling that ever since Jamie Spears, Britney’s dad left the tour to take care of a few business deals, she has been hooking up with a back-up dancer!

You would think after Well-Fed K-Fed, she would swear off doing anything with back-up dancers.  The dancer’s name is Gio and she has been buying him clothes and shoes n’ stuff…allegedly.  Please please please let this not be true. Britney, baby, what’s going on?-Dr.FB

Chace Crawford is being offered the role that Zac Efron left last week? Word around town is it is true.

Although cast for a remake of “Footloose” a while ago, Zac Efron dropped out of the movie a little over a week ago.  It seems right now the next choice on the list is Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford. 

Guess Chace Crawford will be less than 6 degrees away from Kevin Bacon then.-Dr.FB

Maurice Jarre has passed away. He won 3 Academy Awards while being nominated for 6.

His son is electronic musician Jean-Michel Jarre. Maurice was 84 years old.

Love and sympathy is being sent out to the Jarre’s family and friends.-Dr.FB

Friday Night Lights Promo Photo

Chelsea Handler can rest easy as one of her favorite shows that has struggling was not cancelled.

NBC renewed Friday Night Lights for 2 seasons. Although it is a 26 episode order of 13 episodes per season, it shows promise for the critics who love it and the audience that is not following it.  The reason it is being renewed?  DirectTV.  They share the budget of the show and get the first few episodes on DirectTV first before NBC.

The episode count by 2011 will be 77 episodes where it can be syndicated and maybe find an auidence there.-Dr.FB
