    Perhaps if I win the lotto I will be able to purchase it.Oh but the odds are kinda against me on that so I doubt that I will be purchasing one anytime soon. 🙁 Great item for the hollywood types eh?

    My Gosh!!! It sucks to want something u cannot have… I agree with all the above comments though about having a store on the website. I took the NPGMusciclub store for granted and figured it was always going to be there so I didnt rush to buy anything when it was there…. then all of a sudden…POOF…it’s gone. I learned my lesson….so Prince if u r thinking about it here is U’re sign 🙂

    Clarification @ BiPolar / paradise7 / funkycat and others : as you might have noticed on the opus site that there are 2 different editions of the books with 2 different winning prizes. There are 950 copies of one edition costing £ 2100 each and its winning prize is £ 21,000 ( not the concert ). The other more exclusive Number 1 Edition will be auctioned later this year and the winning bidder will win the private concert. Starting bid for the exclusive Number 1 Edition-auction will be much more higher than £ 2100

    paradise 7 – I agree. I would love to have that Opus, but goodness, I am not wealthy at the moment. Perhaps a cubic zirconia encrusted version would be more affordable. (make a cheaper version for us poor folk) haha The iPod would be great. And no, I haven’t gotten the shirt yet.

    My thoughts on this:
    • I already have the book — purchased months ago.
    • I already have an iPod — packed with the music from the Indigo Nights CD that came with the book.
    • All I’m missing is the 40-minute film and the diamond-encrusted symbol on the outer box.
    • If I spend $2100.00 to enter my name in the drawing, will I win? Probably not.
    • If I do win, will I get to hand-pick the set-list? Probably not.

    Now, if a storefront on the fansite opened up that had diamond-encrusted symbol necklaces and earrings (REAL JEWELRY) available, THAT’S something I’d go for. I could actually wear that stuff out… I can’t really carry my $2100.00 book around as an accessory. Or, I’m with Christopher — maybe he SHOULD get a deal in w/ Apple and make those purple iPods available thru his site. They’d sell like crazy!!!

    By the way — has anyone gotten their T-shirt yet?

    I love Prince dearly but there is no way in hell I’m spending $2100 for some iPod from one tour. I’m already a member of his new website, why can’t he put that content on the site and make even more people go and join the site? Prince needs to think smarter with this move cause it’s not a good one, for real.

    $2,100, is that a joke ? Who on earth can afford that for a book & an ipod ? I guess this is not for fans, this is for very very very wealthy people, like fat cats on wallstreet 🙂

    Plus, the 21 nights book is not that great, I mean where are the live pics ? And those pictures are sooo photoshoped, it looks more like a fashion magazine than anything else. The Sacrifice Of Victor book from the 1993 European Tour was so much better.

    So Prince, stop doing books and just sell the “Purple Pod” on your web site and Apple Stores, it would sell like hot cakes!!!!

    Prince is giving more….coupled with a possible private concert with ur special guests, which is far more than Barack Obama gave. I would prefer the memories of my favorite all time artist….giving me his “heart” the best he has….his “music”…that which is “everlasting”. Congrats. 2 all that can afford Prince Opus and 2 the the “winner” and their special friends.

    Ok, this is a bit much. Prince, bring it back to the fanbase that has supported you all these years. You know–the ones that can’t afford to spend $2k , but have on concert tix, movie tix, (failed) subscription services, t-shirts, CDs, books, etc, etc, etc.

    The iPod is badass, tho!
