Janet Jackson’s American Music Award Performance
Is it me or did the American Music Awards overdress Janet Jackson to make sure there was no wardrobe malfunction? The performance may not have been Janet’s best but it is important for her to get these type of chances so Janet may have some success in the future with radio play and dealing with better concert promotion.

I attended the show. I thought Janet would have brought it more in her performance. It was ok. But not the fire i expected…It just seem like something was seriously missing
I liked Janet’s performance …. I did not like her outfit … I thought she did good for a 40 year old. Can’t expect her to move like she did 20 years ago. I enjoyed her performance.
i didn’t like her performance at all!! Janet is a good dancerl, but i don’t think she’s ever performed live, except at the MTV Awards earlier this year. The AMA’s only let her do her thing, because of Michael. Her new material might be ok, but she really needs to give it up. first off she was hiding behind that wild hair.. Rosie Gaines is the ONLY woman that can pull that hair off, but then again, Rosie wouldn’t have synced…cuz Rosie CAN sing. Anyway, in short.. GA GA..oo la la..Janet..oh no no!!
I loved her performance..she’s a little thicker than normal right now and i think that has to do with the death of her brother…..and I think that is why the wardrobe on her latest performances haven’t been all that revealing…she looks great but we just aren’t use to seeing Janet that thick….

The outfit was terrible. She was out of shape and he performance was not up to her usual standards. Yeah she’s older so that means she should be smarter and more sophisticated. Don’t try and compete with your younger self. Look at Prince. He’s older and hotter than ever.

You guys come on ya’ll know these haters have been and unfortunately will be around for years. I will agree, yes Jan’s wardrobe could have been better, maybe black would of helped, but I was sitting watching the performance with with a good friend who sings professionally himself & even he beleived it was live, and even if it wasn’t, again you have to consider all the dancing she did.

She is just trying to revisit her roots as a performer, I’m In my mid 30s so I can really appreciate that. I adored the Janet who didn’t have to reveal anything at one time, but God she was still sexy, and so talented. So much has changed in her life, and now with loss of Michael she’s just trying to celebrate her own life please herself again and not the public. Ignorance is so overated and so are all you haters!! Your just a waist of space, but hey your opinions are yours, just think before you share them.
