Lenny Kravitz Recording “Super Love” In The Studio

Here is video of Lenny Kravitz just released in the recording studio.   This footage is from yesterday so it is very current and is a work in progress.

He is in the recording studio laying down the track entitled “Super Love” which will be from his upcoming CD Negrophilia and the video was taken from the recording process a day after writing it. The audio and video is choppy on purpose so there will not be a clean copy out til the CD is out.

Lenny is recording the track in his falsetto voice as well which adds a different element to it. The video was filmed by Mathieu Bitton and I am told it will not be up there too long so you may want to watch it a few times.

I think it is hella cool that Lenny let filming happen in the studio and gives us a look at his recording process.  Check it out.-Dr.FB

This track, and behind the behind the scene footage/vibe is heavily influenced of early funk rocker Prince, guess “Romeo Blue” has returned.

For you young bloods, “Romeo Blue” was the name Lenny used in the beginning as he searched for a record deal… Let’s hope he has ditched the blue contacts. 🙂
