Adam Lambert attended the "What Do You Worship" art and photo event at Church Boutique last night that was being guest hosted by Lenny Kravitz. Our art friend Mathieu Bitton invited us.
This was my 3rd time meeting Adam and each time I introduce myself, not sure he knows who I am yet. I asked if for us to take a photo with him so I could post on my site for his fans because how dedicated they are to Adam when I post about him.
"I seriously have the best fans. They are so wonderful and amazing. They are just amazing. They are so loyal."-Adam Lambert 11/14/2013
We wonder what was discussed between Timbaland, Jay Z, and Lenny Kravitz last night in Paris? A collaboration? Timbaland's divorce? Pictures of Blue Ivy? A spoiler of The Hunger Games Part 2?
Whatever was discussed, Mathieu Bitton caught it on camera last night for our photo of the moment.
Mathieu says the photo was taken at 79-Club Paris around 3 A.M.
We are sure there is more to the story but thank MB for being there and capturing the action!-DocFB

"Looking Back On Love", the brilliant documentary on the making of Lenny Kravitz's "Black & White America" album has officially been released on I-Tunes. The director Mathieu Bitton couldn't be happier.
"I am elated about the fact that the film is finally out. It's been a struggle to get it released but now I feel is the perfect time to - as the title suggests - look back on this amazingly rich experience."
"This film to me, is about the colors and characters of life, through a musical experience. It's a record of talent and travel. A fantasy for many that was a laborious work of love and passion for us. And the response I am getting has really made it worth the wait."
"I'm happy people are finally seeing the level of Lenny's talents and the multi-instrumentalist and funny and wise man he is."
So far, the doc has reached #5 on I-Tunes sales as Bitton is hoping for a DVD release later this year, possibly a Director's Cut version.
Bitton is staying quite busy as he is working on the 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of "Are You Gonna Go My Way" and is working of his first retrospective show and catalog with Bui Gallery at a John Lautner mansion in LA Feb. 18th.
Along with that, Mathieu's official web sites mathieubitton.fr and mathieubitton.com will launch Feb. 15th. He also designed the just released Teena Marie "Beautiful" album and the Marvin Gaye "Trouble Man" 40th Anniversary expanded deluxe edition.
If that isn't enough, he is planning to bring the film to festivals in china, India, Europe and around the US and has a feature story he shot of Raphael Saadiq in the next issue of Rolling Stone Russia. He shot videos and stills for campaigns with Lenny such as Eleven Paris and the NFL.
Upcoming projects include James Brown 50th Anniversary Best of Live at the Apollo and a new Jane's Addiction record. Mathieu is an artist on the rise.-DocFB

Not only does the film star Lenny Kravitz and Cuba and Forest, it also stars Oprah Winfrey, Leiv Schreiber, John Cusack, Minka Kelly, Alan Rickman, Terrance Howard, and Jane Fonda. That is quite the star-studded cast!
Lenny had this to say exclusively to drfunkenberry.com about the film;

The hotness that is Mariah Carey and Lenny Kravitz hooked up over the weekend in Moracco..and the world is still intact.

Lenny Kravitz dedicated the performance of his latest single "Push" to Whitney Houston tonight at his concert in Phoenix.
Lenny included this message with the video:
In loving memory of Whitney Houston. Rest In Peace. There will never be another like you. Love, Lenny
Lenny has some great words about Whitney as well before the performance. Some straight truth!
Very heartfelt. We want to thank Lenny and Mathieu Bitton for giving us a heads up about this.-DocFB
"Looking Back On Love" is a new Lenny Kravitz documentary focusing on his recording of "Black & White America" and 2 years of his life.
The film, directed by grammy nominated Mathieu Bitton, follows Lenny Kravitz to the Bahamas, New Orleans, and Paris. It gives you an all access look into Lenny with studio sessions, family, and intimate moments. The attention to detail is vast. It is like getting every nook and cranny of your favorite muffin and savoring it with your favorite drink. It really makes me wish more artists would do behind the scenes footage like this.
The movie was premiered at the Grammy Museum and we were able to talk to Lenny and the film maker about "Looking Back On Love" and more.
Lenny participated in a Q and A, and I made sure to ask a few questions during that time.
